Make 100% sure that all the files are in the DayZ folder. My 7zip said that the code file was there, and when I checked it wasn't, so i had to unzip it elsewhere and manually put it in the file. Maybe that will help.

I'm jut spitballing, here, but does anyone else think that it might be the sheer amount of connect and disconnect attempts at high traffic times that cause this? Right now i haven't been able to get past the 'waiting for response' problem during the day, but at night i've been able to get in fairly easily in comparison (US) Just a thought. Edit: I just tested this on a very uncrowded server versus one that is near-full, and it seems my theory is accurate; less than a minute to get in versus not getting in at all on the crowded one. It will require more testing, but it seems the servers can't handle load of this magnitude, as it were.

It seems to work now, i had to pull the files manually into my DayZ folder, even though 7zip said the files were there already (they weren't).

I have been getting this error every time I have tried to get on a server today. I have unzipped the 1.5.8.4 file into my DayZ folder five times and redownloaded it three times, and it doesn't seem to resolve the issue. I also haven't seen anyone referencing this on the forums. Anyone else having this issue, and if so, is there a fix?
