Anyone willing to help a newbie learn about the game? So far, haven't been very lucky.

Man can anyone help me out, died like 4 times already. On my fifth, found a hunting stand, cross the trees, BAM 4 zombies. Managed to get in and to my disappointment there was only chem red flares and ammo. What good is ammo with no gun. Now I have no clue where I am, just running in the woods. Looking for a group!

Got the most retarded glitch ever, was climbing a ladder. Character glitches off as if he's falling, then BAM I'm back at the top of the ladder once I was done climbing, I died. lol other then that great work with the server!

Damned another one of my suggestions dropped. Oh well... @Michaelvoodoo25, I'm a visual person, so showing the idea itself gives a better idea of it.

Not really, part of the design is inspired by Diablo 3. Fuck WarZ tbh.

Before I start, if any of these suggestions were mentioned disregard them. So idea #1 is a new layout for the inventory, as follows; Chest: Heavier armor would allow you to absorb hits better / Would make you slower. Light Armor/Clothes would make you squishier / Would make you faster. Legs: Same concept as Chest. Boots: Work boots / Give a lot of armor, but make you slow. Sneakers / No armor, but you run fast. Basically, people would be able to make different builds for different situations. Say for example you like to heal people. Well you wouldn't want to be slow to go and help them. On the other hand if you like to just go in and destroy zombies/players. More armor would help with that. Idea #2: Two handed weapons / 1 handed weapons. You could use for example, a axe and a meat cleaver in both hands. But, a Sledge hammer need two hands obviously. P.S. My paint skills are awesome.

Wondering if I can even run Arma 2:CO/DayZ well with the following specs; CPU: Dual core 2.0 Graphics: nVidia GeForce GT 430 (1gig VRAM) RAM: 2 Gig (Kingston) HDD: I know this won't matter got enough.

Basically, I'm looking for a server that doesn't have hackers/cheaters. I've come across "Redux", seems very well done. Can anyone suggest a server which I can game without worrying that I'll be 1 hit by some hacker?

Looking forward to trying this mod, if paypal would clear, I could buy the game!!! P.S. Anyone want to loan me the $ to buy it? I'll repay when the funds get to my Paypal.

Sadly, there will be always those people who make situations like you've experienced. Best thing to do I think, would be to try and log as much information about the hackers, and report them.

Maybe adding a tab system to make navigation to certain areas easier. Something along the lines of; DayZ General Support Servers Discussions Other languages
