Hey guys. Smite or Vladimir here. First I would like to thank you for clicking the thread and I hope you like what you read :) We ordered a DayZ.st Private Hive server hosted out of Dallas, Texas recently and we have spent the past week and a half with it closed fixing it up and getting it fine tuned to our liking. We literally did not know what a PBO file was before so it has been quite the learning experience. Our goal for the server is to bring back an old school feel while fixing a few things that could have, in our opinion, been better about DayZ. If reading is not your favorite thing to do here is an informative introductory video to our server. On DayZ Commander you can search Communist Comrades or add this IP(208.43.9.86:3136) to your favorites. Server Information. The map is Chernarus. We are active mature admins (Tanker is 19 and is currently serving in the US Army) (I, Smite am a 21 year old college student studying Criminal Justice and Computer Hardware) We will do our best to ensure a fun fair hack free environment for our players. If the server gets popular enough we will employ additional admins, purchasing TSW (TheSilentWarrior Anti-Hacks). If hacking becomes too big of an issue we will whitelist the server. Donations are appreciated and there will be in game donation rewards. Should a hacker nuke the server we are able to do a server rollback to repair the damage. If a hacker kills you and we check the resources we have available and can confirm it we will replace what you lost. Key changes - Custom loadouts (We believe that our custom loadout is fair, convenient, but not overpowered.) Custom loot and weapon spawns (We have removed what we believe to be overpowered and useless weapons and replaced them with new weapons that will balance out PVP combat.) Our Switches Gone : L85 AWS Reason : People claim the thermals are OP (replaced with G36A Camo) AS50 Reason : Overpowered. (Replaced with the Lapua Magnum for now. May be taken out in the future) M107 Reason: Overpowered (Replaced with L85 RIS SUSAT) DMR Reason: Overpowered (Replaced with M4A1 ACOG M203) AKS74U Reason: Bland (Replaced with AK-107 Kobra Wire Fencing Kit Reason : Causes Artifacts (Replaced with Sand bags) Makarov Reason: If you're going to have a crappy pistol it might as well be silenced (Replaced with Makarov SD) SVD Camo Reason: Toning it down with a Stanag shooting sniper (MK12 SPR) M203 Smokes Reason: Useless (Replaced with more useful MP5SD Mags.) M24 Reason: Bland (Replaced with sexier M40A3 counterpart) Double Barrel Reason : Useless (Replaced with Makarov SD) M14 AIM Reason: A tad overpowered (Replaced with M4A3 RCO GL) Map Reason: Useless you spawn with one (Replaced with GPS) Wood Pile Reason : Useless (Replaced with Bear Trap) Crossbow Reason : Useless (Replaced with SA-61 [scorpion] Fun fact. Weapons spawn with plentiful magazines due to the higher number of zombies. Custom Vehicles such as the Police Car, Land Rover, and even 1 hidden Apache Helicopter and more. (Vehicles are not common but are obtainable especially while the server is new. So claim yours today :)) Long days and short nights WITH FULL MOON NIGHTS :D Gunshots are more realistically loud to zombies. Pick your shots wisely. You are less likely to bleed upon a zombie strike. Hope to see all of you on our server and hope you enjoy your stay!

Was pretty good. At points it was pretty boring (which will happen with 99% of dayz let's plays) but the commentary kept me from clicking away. I personally have a hard time thinking of stuff to talk about when I record live in solo gameplay. You did pretty well though.

Hey guys. The story behind this clip was me and 2 other friends were playing on the new Oring map today and everytime we met a new person we would invite them into our group (given they didn't shoot at us :P) and this is the initiation of one of the new members. Hope you may get a kick out of it.

Just skimming over your channels you indeed have quality uploads. Unfortunately getting known on youtube is based more on luck than video quality these days. You definitely deserve more views.

It was actually only about 10 or 15 minutes. I put a map marker that said "left my as50 inside a dead cow".

Yeah it is a regular spawn on Panthera. It spawns FOB Boriana far end :)
