Helicopters out of Take on Helicopters. So DayZ will be Based on ToH or at least its engine right? Please integrate the Flight and espacialy the Startingsequenz WITHOUT the Autostartup from ToH in Dayz. By now it is to easy and Everyone can do it. Everyone is using them like DayZ was Battlefield. Everyone would immediately change to a Unix System. I am talking about Business here!! not gaming. This is MS biggest income by far! The will clearly not ruin that!!! Hmm not sure what you mean by Poweruser. Again im an IT Professional working for Layers, Consultants etc. etc. One Software we use you might know is Docuware. You can change Anything relevant in Win8 all Managment Snapins are Stil there some with major Upgrades. Jou can reach them the same way as in Win 7. Ore by just right klicking in the lower left Corner. Again "Metro" is just an Start menu..... Again the Prob is Nobody tested it for them self but Everybody is ranting about. Agreed it Works by now but well is stil aint Save as the latest issues show. I dont see the Reason having Steam involved if i could Download it from the Developer it self. Cool thing about Crowdfoundig is i know that my Money lands in the Hands of the Developer. I dont like the Fact that i have to pay EA, Valve, MS etc... when the Money belongs to the Developer. Sorry for the Moan but i cant take it anymore: I am using the Windows 8 right now. (My Company is a Microsoft Partner) Windows 8 is basicly an Upgrade of Windows 7 with a changed Design for the Startmenu and the Desktop. That taken away Windows 8 is much better than Windows 7. It is fast, reliable, works with nearly everything (only Thing that did not run is the Skypekit). I installed it for tests of our Software on my Notebook and stuck with it ever since. There was litraly no Software ore Driver that did not run. I even play DayZ on this Thing nothing happend. It did non not crash, eat my Files, burn my SSD ore HDD. All it did was running and that much faster than Win 7. The Metro is a fast and Fun Startmenu nothing more. In my Opinion better than the constantly cramped and overloaded old startmenu ( All Programms!!) Is use Software an Drivers that where made for Win 7 without Problems as i sad befor it is basicly Win 7! The concerns about Win 8 are mostly based on the Fact that the Testers did not like "Metro". You have to understand that "Metro" is not the Desktop. It is the STARTMENU, well a pretty big one. My best advise is to use common sens: Test it your self! Only you can know if you like it ore not!

I had both at Hand and choose the Revolver. 100m effective Range made my Mind. I found out the hard Way that reloding an precision is what you need. Trying to Kill of a bunch of Z's with Headshots is hard when the Recoli forces you to adjust all the Time. I switched to the M1911 but in the end i stuck to the Glock if i could, even with 25m less it is better to handle..

I bet it was mentioned before but im too lazy too Search ^^ Painkillers and Anitbiotics: It would be better if they where like magazins. Maybe found half depleted. Painkillers are found in packets of 24, Antibiotics have 18 caplets/tablets. In RL taking them all at once certainly would kill you maybe extremly harm you. So make them more rare and like a Mag would be cool.

Point is that there are Players in DayZ thinking this is a Shooter and Kill everything on Sight. Wich is not how DayZ is intended to be played! The Term CS / CoD / BF / GRAW "Shooterkiddie" is swearing lets Face it. But non the less true! You feel offended by hearing that everyone Thinks CoD Players act the same dumb way. Well i can understand that! But you have to admit that is how Things are in those FPS. Youngones running around shooting without thinking only aiming for the next Frag! Thats why many like me left those Games. Because if i want to compet with others i just can do ..Football. Dayz is not a Highscore Game there is no "Firstplace" no "Winner" its "The Way is the Goal"! I have a suggestion regarding the „Shooter“ Problem. Jump to „Here is what i came up with!“ if you dont want to here another moan. ^^ Let me get this straight at first. IMHO DayZ is a Survival-„Horror“-Game with Zambies in it. Not an Casual FPS „See my Big Highscore Mothfucker!“ Wich is the reason why im playing it. I like the upcoming Panic wenn i am unarmed, Out of Beans and here the Z’s closing in. Having Bandits is a great Idea, another Threat do Fear! I am fully aware that beeing killed i spart oft he came! I even can imagine my self running arround making traps. Yellin „Beans or Life“ and shit. Could be Fun but I like survival more But let‘s Face the Fact Bandits now are mostly Shooterfans hunting for there Highscore. An Anoyance nothing more ruining the Game. I mean whats the Deal, hacking myself a as40 TWS an shooting everyone from Buildings in Cherno? If i wanted to do that there is Arma2 itself or Other Shooters…. So thats where i startet thinking: How to force Players beeing Bandits instead of Killers? - Here is what came up with: Problem: Main Problem ist hat Players get rewarded with the Loot of those the have Killed. Besides the Banditskin there is nothing negativ about it. Task: Let People be Bandits without spoiling there fun but have Killers punished. Solutions: Let them be hunted by there Victims. The Idea behind this is not New. In Fact we all have seen those Movies with Characters Hounted by there Past. So lets make a Killer regret what he did and stop him from is doing. Make him have Visions, Voices and Ghosts hunting him. If you kill more it gets worse and worse unto a Point where you are constantly Hounted by your Ghosts. The Players has Flashbacks in form of Overlayed Pictures and hears Screams out of Nowhere. The more he kills more frequent and longer they until a Permanent Point . This will scare him at first and annoy in the End by making it nearly impossible to shoot. The Humanitysystem can be utilized for that. So Bandits that steal wont get Visions and the unnassesary killing is reduced. Oh one Perk for the Heros if a Killer targets a Hero, he shivers like in Pain so a Hero is harder to Kill. Speaking of Heros. How cool would it be finding a mere „insane“ Killer beeing able to give him Medis only Heros have to rescue him bit by bit from the Darkside….. So hope you like my Idea. Thats not enough Info to Start with. Wtich Arma2OA do you own Steam, Retail maybe ArmaX? Anyway! Use the Force little Jedi: http://www.dayzcommander.com/ It sorts most Shit for you out. Start again by doing this: Install Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead Start ARMA 2 OA once in Singleplayer Install DayZ Commander Edit the Path to the ARMA2 an ARMA2 OA Folder if necessary. Restart Commander Update Commander ARMA2, ARMA2OA, DAYZ (Takistan etc is not needed) Choose Server Survive!!!!

Dont know if it was mentioned before. The Gun itself has to be a container for one Magazine itself. It realy puzzeld me first time i reloaded my AK und found the same amount of Mags in my Backback as before. It schould be in the Gun not in the Backpack anymore. Weapons, those Weapons, I would like the more realistic way as pointet out in the Description by Rocket himself. Only Weapons that have a realistic chance to be Found in a pre-Sovjietstate. Friend uses a SAW in DAYZ but an RPK would be more fitting. A Gun like the HK 41X that was solely developed by HK in and for the US-Market would simply ruin the game for me. It is too unrealistic to find such a Rare Weapon in a Russian State. So a German Sturmgewehr STG44 (WWII) or a Jarygin PJa (New Russian Military Police Gun) would be fine.

Cant realy decide. In one case it has its use in light Fortification. But it is contantly missused and causes Graphicalissues. So im on the "Drop it! Bring it back later!" side!
