I agree I do love rebuilding my character after having everything! Just a shame for those people that have had say 80 dayz survival time and still not died. I would care more for that than gear being carrie over. :) thanks for a kind reply ;)
I just asked if stats would carry over to the standalone game. If it can be kept on one 'hive' sever surely they could copy that data someway to the standalone as it is going to be using a similar engine. Many people on this topi are getting confused. I merely asked if it would be possible to carry over stats to the standalone. Lets say as an example, 'Mass effect' series you can import your save game....
I literally just meant stats and zombie kills if you actually read the post. Sorry I didn't realise so many people were incapable of reading :) LOL 'boy'
I was wondering if your character from the public hive would carry over to the standalone severs. This would be great for long time players who have high stats such as Zombie kill and many dayz in game. Would be great too maybe see a small bonus for having played the mod before the standalone such as clothing (much like preordering many games) also gives the incentive to purchase the standalone after buying the ARMA games. Surely if the data is saved on as server this would be easy. Sorry if this is the wrong section first post :) ...surviving since August 2012 --Butttonz
