i agree with you sir i prolly wouldn't even bother with side arms any more, and just use the axe always for zombies and when a player comes along its easy to use your rifle. rocket should do this with standalone

he did change his cpu, didnt you read what he said? anyway i only have a AMD 3.2 Ghz quad core and i run it fine. and if anything from what it sounds like, you need a SSD hard drive. DAyz is very CPU and hard drive dependent, SSD's are the best out. and its just the game man every one gets bad FPS because of zombies. they have too many moving point in there skeleton. making it lag for every one. some people with beast setups will get less FPS dropped but no one can get away from it.

your asking alot, and i dont think a sever owner cares about you. i mean they have there own sever. if your trying to team up with a sever owner you need to ask them, not wait for them to ask you, cause they wont.

i timed it and did many different tests on different surfaces, and found on average it takes 3-3 and a half min to run 1k in game. depending on if your a bandit or hero, how hungry/thirsty you are, and what ground type your running on.

this is completely admin based. just like what saethkept. same with the floating items, its just what happened to items if there spawned in at restart.

about three days ago i woke up and went to go play dayz on a server i play on normally play on, and found that its ping was at 560? i was puzzled because this server is normally running at 20-40 ping. after realizing this i went to got to find a new server and come to find that ever server is like this with the lowest being around 150 ping. and half of the servers were just saying 999 for ping and not showing server name. i havent been able to play, if any one could help me i would be very thank full and would be willing to give them a arma3 lite for helping :)

sounds dumb with all the rules. dayz is about saying fuck rules. i can understand no cheat/hacking but come on your just making it gay.

ok so normal hive is all connected to each other, you can play on one log, then join a different server later and still have all your stuff. a private hive server will not carry over anything, so the things you get on a private hive server only save on that server. the cool thing about them though, is most have extra vehicles that can spawn in fully repaied and extra weapons even some times tanks and jets will be added. many many kool new thing can be found on private severs. and most people agree, which is why more people play private hive than normal.

its because there are two different types of servers. Normal hive servers, and private hive servers. normal hive servers are all connected and are just the basic dayz mod. so when playing on them your stuff will carry over from server to server. private hive servers are servers that only are connected to its self or, one or two more servers, these servers usually have added vehicles or weapons. with the growing popularity of the game there seems to be more private servers than normal servers, so if your just jointing a random sever just make sure it says US#,UK#,AZ#.ect

yeah telling people they "have to give you nvgs" is a bad thing to say when looking for a group.weather your joking or not it gives the image that, thats all you want, more than a group and will cause people to be nevus around you and not wanna team up. just a suggestion, and no they're my nvgs...
