Trying out a tent for the first serious time. How much total space does it have to store items? The wiki said that it can overload and lose items, but never states how many it can actually hold. Much appreciated. -Zealot

Hmm. Odd...Different sizes it would seem.

I just attempted this with wood. I reached 50 pieces before it overloaded, with wood presumably filling 2 slots per, it seemed more along the lines of 1. Took out a piece of wood, 2 slots 'free', and then placed a steel bolt, which overloaded it again.

So, I've been playing for just over a week now. It's generally been really fun...Until I get into a shoot out with any other player. I take my shots carefully. I control them and ensure I aim properly - no full auto if I can help it. On numerous occasions I have shot players 4+ times in the torso with a large caliber, such as the 7.62 from the AKM, and had them simply 2 shot me with a pistol. I lost 5 days of hard work to a Bandit when I shot him 4 times in the chest (all hits) with a M1911 (We're talking .45 rounds...They hit rather hard) and he still walks up and one shots me like it's nothing. Or when I see somebody and am behind them, only to have him spin around after I shoot him 4 times, kill me with two pistol shots, and then patch himself up no problem. This is VERY frustrating - I have a pea shooter against what feels like .50 Cal's. What is up with the shooting in this? I play single player and one hit to the torso instantly kills an enemy, and I have killed players in this with only two rounds ... Why does it not work now?

Yup. Same here. Died, respawned in debug mode with nothing, tried respawning again by reconnecting and since then I have been forever stuck on 'Loading' for 9/10 servers. There are a few I can connect to but I end up waiting about 30 minutes before being launched into the debug forest and cannot get past.

I've already submitted bug reports and posted here and there on the issue, but I figured here wouldnt be a bad spot to ask. Yesterday in the afternoon I was killed by a player. Typically (for the last two days) I would reconnect and have the hourglass on my screen and then after a few minutes be able to get up and have all my things (Odd bug, yes). This time however, there was nothing when I revived. Zip. Zero. Nadda. I had no UI, no character, couldnt move, couldnt anything... So, I tried to reconnect and suddenly was unable to get past 'Loading' which is in between 'receiving data' and 'waiting for server response'. This issue is now happening on almost any server I join with the exception of the odd one which allows me to the point where it says 'Server Responded, Creating Character' and then either A)Hangs or B)Pops me into the debug forest and never lets me out. Who else is having this issue with 'Loading'? I'm curious as to whether it's a bug with the server where characters are held. Maybe mine is perpetually stuck in some electronic void. There isnt a way to delete my character entirely from the 'database', is there?

I made a thread earlier about weapons and how it feels like I have a pea shooter in comparison to other players. Regularly I get the jump on another player and despite upper body and head shots, they always seem to survive and two shot me in return. (Yes, I shoot slowly to ensure bullets hit and I try for the head) Basically I got told A)I suck B)Could be lag So please, tell me your ultimate wisdom in relation to killing people. I'm sick of getting killed by a bandit who wont drop from 4 .45 ACP rounds to the face, or a survivor who takes two rounds to the head and chest just to turn around and one shot me with his Winchester. Every death I have had so far can be attributed to losing gun battles. This isnt to say I havent won any (I have won a few on my own with considerable 'luck' - one dude took about 8 shots from my M16A2 and i STILL had to finish him off with my pistol) but they are few and far between. So, TELL ME HOW YOU DO IT. THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS.

Well if that's two of you, I'll try and adopt that to see how things go. I was just under the impression from playing single player ARMA or coop against AI that a shot or two to the chest was enough to down somebody - especially with powerful rifles. It was with that reasoning I decided that slower aimed shots would be best (I'm not talking super slow, but I definitely single shot with slight delays to ensure the gun is back in place before another round goes out)

I read people saying run 2KM east... Cant somebody clarify what this means? What direction is east when I'm in the middle of a forest? I followed some 3000M objective marker and found water, is this what they spoke of?

Did it again and got an average of 208 over 5 clicks. Then everything is Ok in this regard. :) BTW, who usually shoot first when you meet other players? You or them? Depends wholly on circumstance. I tried for the longest time to avoid killing those I didnt have to, but when I see bandits especially I will shoot them on principle. On my screen I am almost always the first one to shoot, usually getting off a few shots before they return fire.

This problem seems to have reoccured today.

Alright. I'll consider it once I am able to connect to servers again. Although, the volume of it terrifies me... Be prepared to fight a horde of zeds every time you use it - so always keep in mind an exit strategy. But this drawback is compensated greatly by its ability to put down a player in one hit. :) Scored 199 in the test. Reaction times arent a problem for me at all. I'll give the Lee Enfield a try...I just prefer other guns and wish they worked better, but I'll definitely try it. Now...Here's to hoping that tomorrow this server connection problem is solved.

This issue is happening to be too. I'm not angry or anything, but I'd like for people to be aware of it and see if there is a fix of some sort.

I'm getting the same thing. Also having troubles on some servers getting past 'Loading' in the center of my screen...It just sits there forever.
