Here's how you can have access to even more faces plus you can give yourself camo facepaint. It should work on most servers and you don't have to worry about being banned by BE.

I like to fill my inventory and bag with cans and broken bottles before I die in order to confuse whoever finds my body. Or I surround myself with as many flares/chemlights as possible.

One time I was playing at night and saw a guy in a barn lit by a single flare. I had just spawned and had nothing and didn't feel like taking things seriously, so I sprinted through the barn, picked up the flare while he was shooting zombies and ran into the woods with his light source. I kept running in a straight line until the flare burned out and then I switched directions and hid in a bush while he lit up the hillside trying to find me. Another time I just spawned in on a Namalsk server that had a custom loadout including an mp5. I saw another fresh spawn down the beach from me so I shot a few rounds just to scare him. I then went prone in the water to hide. He ran right past me, so I popped up and fired a few more rounds before hiding again. He spotted me and became obsessed with trying to kill me. He spent five minutes switching back and forth between his gun and hatchet and he was so focused on killing me he forgot he was standing on an open beach and someone shot him.

I was actually playing on a server with both of these yesterday. My favorite was Mitt Romney. Not very original, but it made me laugh.

The problem with the crane is that while it's next to impossible to get to, it'd be really easy to see and destroy. Nice parking though.

I tend to play this game with no seriousness whatsoever. My current obsession is playing with flares. I love getting 30-40 of them and running around Cherno and Elektro turning night into day. Or throwing them at unsuspecting survivors.

I joined the server. I was expecting more people to be on. I drove an offroad through Cherno and Elektro and have a single person shoot at me.

I use the numpad to check my surroundings. Apparently I'm the only one.

Those were some lucky new spawns. I've always hoped to randomly join a server with y'all.

The hatchet is my only weapon. I'll carry a side arm if I find one (preferably 1911 or revolver), but I always use my hatchet. I don't have a problem with zed's getting hits in on me. The other day I broke my leg in the barn north of Elektro, crawled into town, made it into the supermarket and there were so many zed around I figured there was no way I could survive the crawl to the hospital, so I fired off my revolver to get the zed's attention. I switched to my hatchet because I'm not going down without a fight and after about 15 minutes the supermarket was littered with corpses. I slaughtered 35 of them and I only got hit once. After that I crawled and got some morphine, ran out of town, killed some boar with the ax and was good to go. The hatchet's one weakness = rabbits. I've yet to be able to kill a rabbit with my hatchet.

Yeah, I'd support a feature similar to the combat timer. If zombies are actively pursuing a player then the 'abort' button is greyed out until the player loses the zombie. Also, I'd just like to state that I am not an advocate of logging out to avoid any kind of conflict (player or zed). I just was playing Devil's advocate.

Someone could always be stalking you. Is it wrong if I log out for the night in a building while someone (whom I was unaware of) was preparing to kill me? These two situations have the same result; another player loses out on a kill/fun, so they must both be equally bad. The most interesting thing, I think, is where does the community draw the line on exploiting flawed mechanics? Zombies walking in buildings is not an intended game feature, and it makes it far easier to either ditch zombies or take them out one by one. I don't see anyone complain about players doing this. Is this wrong?

Does this game really have a point, besides the one you create for yourself? Also, I don't think you can draw conclusions on an individual's character purely on how they play a game.

Who cares? It doesn't harm anyone. Combat logging, brightness manipulation, scripting, using scripted weapons all can directly harm other player's experience, but in this situation the only person losing out on anything is the zombie logger themselves. They are missing out on a potentially intense experience that makes DayZ great. I think a lot of people just like complaining for complaining's sake.
