This game has taught me one thing: Scandinavia and Canada/Alaska look almost identical. Every time I guess Canada it's Sweden. Every time I guess Sweden it's Alaska. -
The 870 has a flashlight, but most people avoid shotguns completely.

There's nothing better than a well run RP server. I've never tried it in DayZ though (only tried a few Taki-Life servers and a minecraft server), but I imagine it would work quite well. I'm hoping some rp servers pop up once the standalone gets up and running.

I have to agree with the CZ.

Patience is majorly important. Don't take a shot until you're positive you'll hit your target, always use your sights, try to take a knee or go prone when possible, and always make sure to catch your breath. If you've come up on an enemy that hasn't spotted you wait the extra minute to catch your breath. It can save your life.

Are Helicopters worth the effort?

I find them to only be useful if I find one fully or very nearly fully repaired, but then again I'm a solo player, so I use to just fly around and maybe taxi people. I don't bother hiding them when it comes time to log off. I either leave them in an obvious place like Cherno/Elektro or crash them into buildings/cars/camps/other helis. -
I just want to look like Mad Max. EDIT: Talk about a coinky-dink. Ninja'd by a fellow Mad Max fan.

Riding a bike is way more efficient than running, so it should drain your hunger/thirst slower than if you're running.

I guess there's something wrong with me, because I don't really care what people do with their graphics. If they want to play an uglier game to gain an advantage, go ahead. I'll never know how or why they killed me, so I'll happily respawn and stroll off back into the woods with every setting turned down, so I can play on my laptop, and never think about it again. I must not be very competitive. -
What does the zombies sexual orientation have to do with anything? But anyways, I like this idea, but I don't like the idea of shadows being forced, because they absolutely kill performance.

My favorite heli refuel spot is the fuel tank at the barn NW of Vybor. Very few zombie spawns, you can land right next to it, so you don't have to run back and forth with your jerry cans. It's the next best thing to the auto-refuel script. -
I already get paranoid and think I hear footsteps and cars and gunshots after I've been playing a while at night. I don't need the game to also tell me I'm insane.

All you have to do is log off a server as soon as you see a server-wide message about donation perks. I don't see what the problem is. They're free to play the game and run their server however they like. -

You can't get a BE global ban, but some server admins won't allow it and ban you from their server, so it's probably best to just move along. Don't cheat.
