Hey everyone! I had a recent post about finding Gillie Suits and a car. Well, I just go the Hero Skin ( WOO :D) and I found a fully functional motorcycle and while I was going to rescue my friend that recently died and was in Cherno. I found a crashed heli w/ FAL, FAL (Night Vision), two PP-19 SDs, and lots of supplies. This has been a fantastic week and DayZ. Just thought I'd share. Thanks!

I would rather help then kill. I will take out some bandits if I see them picking on bambis (new players) but, other then that I don't kill.

Well, the DayZ gods give and take away. I lost my car (full of supplies) and my tent but, I still have some good gear.

Don't worry mate, life goes on. I just lost my tent and vehicle so I don't have any place to store any items.

Well first off, if you're a good guy, you must have encountered other players that are bandits. It's great to give someone some help, and get them off their feet. I have the Hero Skin, I'm a good guy through and through but, if I don't know them on a personal level, I'll help then leave. Just a word of advice, don't trust anyone over the internet.

Hey everyone! I was wonder what type of players do we have here. I am the typical "good guy" I'll help someone out if they need it but, if someone is aggressive toward me, I will open fire. Here are some scenarios: You're North of Cherno, just wondering the woods and you see a player with a hatchet getting swarmed by zombies. What do you do? You're in the Stary supermarket, you hear a player come over direct communication "anyone here? I need a blood transfusion and some morphine." You see the player slowly crawling toward you, he has a gillie suit with an AS50 and a M9SD. What do you do? You find someone fixing a vehicle, it's almost done and they see you. They greet you and ask you if you need a ride, what do you do? My answers: I would assess the situation from a distance and then talk to him over direct communication. I would then take the zombies out (staying a good distance back) I would then tell him to stay still and give him a pistol or something else (if I had extra) if he charged me, I would shoot. I would first ask if he had any blood bags or anything he could exchange in return. If he didn't, I would give him a blood transfusion (if I had extra supplies of course) and I would drop the morphine in the back so I would have time to get out. I wouldn't take a ride, I would just congratulate him/her on finding a vehicle then, I would head off on my own.

Hey everyone! I was just rewarded with the best thing EVER. My two friends and I were running around in Stary, we were looting before we headed out to our camp. Next thing I know, my friend "S" yells out that he found a car. We found a fully functional car with 3 Gillie Suits (none of us had any), two FALs, tons of ammo, and we found a jerry can with gas in it as well. It was CRAZY. Amazing find.

DayZ will be a great standalone game. I just hope it doesn't go to console.

Woah mate. Both are great ideas. I would also find it interesting if they made it where you could grow your own food.

Oh, well I could see that. I guess I could just keep giving blood transfusions....lol.

Must be a hacker. I've been turned into a cow before and just roamed around. Luckily I play on a server that doesn't really get hacked much.

In all honesty, it's nice to see we have more neutral players and good players then Bandits. My goal is to get "Hero" clothing. I could always just shoot my friends and heal them :P

Nowadays, I just keep my distance, I'd rather watch from a distance.

I treat other players with respect but, I don't trust anyone.I will never turn my back to anyone unless I know them IRL and am EXTREMELY good friends with them.

It was honestly a nice fine. We never imaged we'd find that in a random car.

Okay, so I log into a regular server, Only 10/40 are playing. No worries. I was close to the GIANT climbable radio tower outside of Cherno. Well, I decided I needed to get the fuck out, so I go across the field. Next thing I know, I hear shots buzzing by my head so I just full out sprint. This kid sucks at sniping. Next thing I know, I reach the wood line and BAM! I'm down. I crawl with all my life behind a tree, I use some morphine (only one I had on me too, and a bandage) I poke my head out behind the tree and see this dumbass sprinting toward me. I'm not a playing killer so I jump on direct communication and start yelling "Stop mate! I have eyes on you, I will fire. STOP!" Then he stops, looks around and keep running. I warn him again, finally he gets close enough and I have to kill him. I can understand player killing on a HUGE server with like 35/40 people or if someone is confronting you. This kid had WAY more items then I had w/ a Gillie Suit. Moral of the story; Don't be a dick just because you can.

Hey mates! I found my first Crashed Heli. I got a DMR and PP 90 SD (no ammo.) This Heli was literally about 100 meters away from my base. It was nerve racking while looting. Moments later, I rushed to Stary and found another heli in the middle (field across from Supermarket.) That one was REALLY challenging to get. I got a M240 with loads of ammo. No picture though :/ Sorry

Thanks! I was saying "If their is a God, I will find a crashed Heli in this field." I was in Skype with my friend and literally RIGHT after I said that I found one and was like "HOLY SHIT! I'm going to Hell." lol

I'm the classic "Hero" type of guy. I'd rather help players then kill them for loot. If I need something, I'll either do a fair trade OR find it myself. Now if the other player is aggressive, then I will shoot without a second thought.

I'm pretty sure it's a hack. Not 100% though. I was at my outpost (FAR North) and it appeared on mine as well. I searched the area but didn't find anyone. I believe they're just trying to frighten newer players.

I am just more of a "Let's work together and build ourselves up" then the "See, Shot, then move on." I feel sorry for players that put so much time into their DayZ account, just to have some douchebag mess it up. I get that PKing is part of the game, but sometimes I just get upset over it. Hence the reason for the thread.

I just don't like player killing on a small population server.
