As I understand it, at minimum you need; Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead. They can be purchased individually or as the Arma 2 Combined Arms package (cheaper option) If you also want Hi-Res textures in game you need to add Arma 2 Private Military Company. The cheapest route is to get Free Arma2 and buy Operation Arrowhead. This is supposed to work from reports I've read, but the downside is you are stuck with Low-Res textures forever. I would also be suspicious that this option may at some point be disabled at publishers request. (they always want their pound of flesh and then some) -
In another thread I read something to the effect that head shots are always retrievable, however if it takes 2 shots to the body to put a Z down, the game will always eat one bolt.

Grocery Stores Also' date=' Field Tents... [/quote'] Living a cold climate (MN) a hunter, and with farming relations, heat packs are as common as a pair of gloves in any farm kitchen or entryway. Usually a stack in plain sight so you can grab n go and return them if unused. Always have a few in my pack on deer stands. We buy them in stores and at gas stations in a pinch. ;-) Military guys love these things..

New spawn/respawn mechanic + New starting kit mechanic.

The para drop is interesting for being able to see your surroundings before you start, but beyond that I have no issues with where I spawn or with what starting kit. What I would like is a spawn mechanic that allows me to coordinate spawning with a friend or group, in close proximity. The spawn point can still be random, but we all enter a number? or something so we all spawn close together. -
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the humanity solution hes come up with on the tracker, go bandit and expect a lot of tin cans at loot locations. Brilliant...
