    I think allowing global chat via ham radio would be an excellent feature. I was looking around at the ham radios, and there's one on Amazon that says it's a hand-held "Two-Way Emergency Crank Radio". It's the size of a normal radio, includes a mic, and has the ability to be recharged via dynamo crank.

    I say give bikes a chance as well. I think it's a great idea.

    I think global chat should remain, but only if you find a ham radio, and you can only talk to others that have a ham radio as well. ;)

    I think roaming zombie hordes in the wilderness would add a bit of tension, especially at night. You're sitting around a campfire with a couple buddies, staying warm in the cold rain, and you all keep a weary eye out into the darkness, wondering if a zombie horde is coming your way.

    I don't mind dying, I like starting with not a whole lot and scavenging for the tools to survive. I'm not being sarcastic either.

    I think they should remove the firewood item, and like others have mentioned make matches limited. Perhaps include a lighter which has more uses than matches, but is still limited.
