Most old games have servers still running. I'm sure there will be DayZ servers on Arma2: OA. However, most people do migrate to the newest games, so while people will still play Arma 2 DayZ, most will play A3.

Me and the five or six other guys I play with were all discussing this as well. Random zombie hordes would be scary as shit when running through a forest or some plains outside stary sobor. Just imagine, hearing the 400+ feet hitting the ground at once! Rocket, could you implement this, and if you could, would you think of maybe adding in a stampede sound when the zombie horde hits 60+? Maybe add a "int horde = 0" line in that code, and each time a zombie is added, it goes "horde++" until it hit 60, and throw in the code: if(horde>=60) { PLAY[stampede] } else { //do nothing }

I've tried to play ARMA outside of Day Z, but it's just too slow. I run 500 meters to the objective, only to end up in a 15 second firefight. Call me a FPS fanboy, but I like my shooter games to be a bit more exciting than that. Battlefield is fun because you get right into the action within 10 seconds (and that's long for the game, if you squad spawn it's immediate). I don't really play games to run around (see: MMO's) with occasional shooting, excluding Day Z (because it concerns zombies...but even then I'm starting to get bored with it).

Really? I'm not having any at all. Try setting the amount of CPU cores in the launch options...that might help.

the mouse scroll action menu doesn't work anymore right? or can i still do it to refill? Kinda lost on the water tanks, though. Figured wells looked like wells though ; )

Saw the update changelog, and that you cant fill water in the ocean. Seeing as that's the only thing i've ever used, anyone care to upload a picture of a well and water tank? And they're in every town right? Thanks guys.
