    If you really want to get technical, a group with the right tools could have a seperate frequency to broadcast comms on that other people wouldnt be able to hear. so no, its not cheating at all. just a lil more tactical.

    I also wanted to add; The military (mainly special forces) has a throat mic so to say that will pick up vibrato in the throat so you could do less than whisper to communicate. Granted, you would think this type of equipment would be extremely hard to get a hold of given the setting for the game.

    Two mercenaries here, looking to defend traders to make sure everything goes down smoothly. We both have a year of playing Day z, -600k humanity each. We are well equipped as of right now We are carrying assault rifles and sniper rifles.

    You're well equipped where.You do realise hardly anyone plays public hives. The majority are on Private hives, or other maps.

    Also, your humanity doesnt show how skilled you are. you could have easily killed unarmed players to acquire such a low humanity. Its usually the kiddies camping fresh spawns that even begin to talk about how they have -10000000000 humanity.

    Nothing is wrong with the Invasion 1944 mod. You downloading it from a nontrusted source and choosing to do a 'automatic install' was the problem.

    I play Invasion 1944 through DayZ Commander and havent had a problem at all.

    Actually I really enjoy it, my team and i have a lot of fun.

    Dont say things like

    BE VERY CAREFUL WITH "'DAYZ 1944!"'

    seems how it wasnt DayZ 1944's fault you got your key stolen, it was yours.

    Usually yes, The farther away the server is from where you are, the worse the connection will be. It also has to do with how well your internet and rig is. I play on european servers all the time and im located west US. usually anything over 175 ping for me is a no go.

    Well it all depends as to what server youre trying to join specifically. they will usually have their website in the server name.

    All it being a Private Hive means is that its not connected to the main hive, meaning your character will be unique to that server, and wont be able to jump to different servers.

    The way it usually goes is

    - Go to the website

    - Make an account / Register

    - then in their Forums section (usually) they should have a place labelled for "Whitelisting"

    - You just need to put your in game name and GUID where it asks.

    Also, if the server is password protected there should be a place to find the password for that specific server.

    There are also Private hives that do not require passwords or whitelisting. For instance my server doesnt, it just has a low player base.

    Worst moment for me that involved a vehicle had to be a few months back on the map Panthera.

    2 of my buddies and I were playing a pretty populated night server fixing up a Military UAZ north of Sabina for a good while. Once we got it fixed and good to go I take us away headed north west headed for a mountain. I had the headlights on and was driving quite nicely, (Im usually always the driver)

    Well thats when I decided a short-cut was the proper way to go, and went to cut across a field that had a little bit of a hump from the road to drive over. I thought itd be open field on the other side so im gunning it. As we get airborne over the hill we land a good 10 feet into a pond. I was able to get out in time before it hurt me at all but both of my friends werent as lucky. Passed out and bleeding at the bottom of the pond.

    Somehow I was able to drag them out and patch them up, but in the end we were stranded next to a pond. Damn ponds.

    clutter free? how can you do this when every time I have come in to the suggestion thread I see something about altering weapons, backpack size, NPC's, and much much more only a differnet subject. so far all these suggestions that I see active now I have read a year ago. eventually someone will bring them up again. Do you search the whole dayz forum before you post?

    Like i said I am not sure if my exact words or ideas have been said before. I also gave reasons for my ideas and why they would be in place which is more then I see a lot of others doing

    Players turning into anything is a good suggestion IMO so its a particular topic i look at, and have seen more than most is all im saying.

    back towards the OP though, i think that we should turn into a zombie, and if done well id enjoy the capability to have a zed life now and again, i just dont think its something to be focused on any time soon. Letting your body come back as a computer controlled zombie would be the first step, and just easier as a whole to add.

    Keep this thread around, I bet theyll be looking seriously about adding this in about a year. :)

    Not sure if the same ideas were put in place or they were exactly the same.

    I have also seen ideas posted in here that I saw a year ago. the exact same. does everyone rape their thread?

    With almost 1300 posts we just figured you'd notice when something you suggested in the suggestion section was also suggested numerous times with one thats currently popular on the front page. Just sayin, lets keep it clutter free ya know?

    What takes more skill people? Managing to sneak up behind someone at gunpoint and forcing them to drop their stuff? OR just sniping someone easily?

    WHO CARES WHAT TAKES MORE SKILL

    I can easily kill anyone with any weapon and have multiple times. No biggie. So if i had a sniper rifle why would i waste my time to try and get close to this person with the threat of them turning around and seeing me in the process, when i could easily shoot them from a distance (which is what the weapon is ment for) ensuring my safety and their gear?

    I could argue that the people trying to close quarter combat with a sniper is more 'Call of Duty'ish than me sniping you from 500 yards.

    At the end of the day, Im alive and eating your beans at pobeda dam, and youre starting over on the coast. U Jelly?
