Either to rush the game out the door before it's finished and/or hide behind the alpha/beta state so you can trade on the promise of what may come, rather than what actually exists. On the surface, Rocket appears to be moving away from that kind of "marketing", but is the actual game just going to follow the same release pattern? Rolling updates like we have with DayZ mod? -

Cars can be deathtraps in DayZ. Just a few light taps on a lamppost/tree, and before you know it, you're either up in flames, or thrown out of the vehicle with broken bones. And then killed when the car explodes, if you don't crawl away fast enough.

Really nice job. I particularly liked the slow motion bird part. Maybe that could be used to link up different action scenes as the bird flies across Cherno. -

Remember that the CPU and motherboard are the most important. It's far easier to upgrade GPU/RAM etc in the future. It's also quite easy to put the parts together yourself, provided you do a little research, so don't be put off by that aspect at all. -

It's the size of the world/number of objects/draw distance that makes the visuals impressive. A lot of the current games that have fantastic graphics are doing an awful lot less.

Yeah, I remember how much variety there was at the beginning, encountering other players. Now it's kill on sight, or suffer the inevitable consequences. Something the standalone will hopefully remedy. -
Barbed wire is such a dead give away when it starts glitching. It's like a homing beacon. Though when you place your camp ONTOP OF SNIPER HILL(!), it's only a matter of time until someone finds it.
