    Less military stuffs

I'd like to see many, many types of what is essentially the same gun. It'd add a more aesthetic diversity; it'd be tiresome, seeing everyone toting around the exact same AK model. Part of the fun is discovering each weapon, and it'll make players feel like they've more choices, however inconsequential.

    Less military stuffs

There should be more incentive to go for the smaller guns. If you're on foot, especially as a lone-wolf, a light-machine gun and a huge backpack full of gear shouldn't be a viable option. The LMG would be something you'd carry around in the back of your truck, to remove when you think you're getting close to some real action. I'd like people to find submachine guns and think, "Damn! I can run around with this thing and it's not a pistol, it's great!"

    On loot respawning

    I doubt we'll even see a return of the AS50. :P

  5. Radios are great-- a damn fine solution to the awful, immersion-breaking side chat.

    Dayz2017 and performance

My greatest moments were in DayZ 2017. I remember stumbling upon a Lee Enfield, and suddenly feeling like the hand of an angry god. However, there was no ammo. Three survivors jumped me at a hospital, with hatchets and crowbars. A shouting match ensued and I got them to back off. Awesome bluff.
  7. Seriously-- I thought we were being attacked by, like, twenty people. But that was probably a side effect of the pants-shitting terror we were experiencing. We saw the roadblock itself at the very last moment and the driver was killed. I then, in a bold escape attempt, grabbed the wheel and backed us up. Fortunately for us, our VIP was a few hundred meters away, sitting next to the convoy. We'd ran into some technical difficulties near the gas station, so the Vodnik was just scouting ahead while we got things in order.
  8. The Vodnik! You killed me! I desperately wanted to see that from your angle. From mine, it looked badass.
  9. Why set a form of currency? Let players do what they want. Hell, make it so that you can play whatever you want with your cards. No artificial 'staking' system or a pre-set game-- give us a simple layout, and play as you will. Hell, I can see some creative bandits taking advantage of this and forcing their hostages to play for their lives. On the flipside, imagine meeting a friendly survivor and teaching him to play your favorite card game, and then bickering about different variations of the rules. :P
  10. Flies are terrible. It's ridiculous how, in a firefight, inside of a building, I will kill a man and won't hear his friend coming because of the disturbingly loud, and instantaneous, gathering of flies on the corpse. It's ridiculously loud, and happens way too quickly. Argument goes both ways. Why should I have the advantage of knowing he's dead without even confirming the kill?

Remove Starter Flashlight; Bring Back Flares

Nighttime is quite intense, even with flashlights. Flashlights should be relatively valuable, but they can easily give away your position. And let's face it-- what breaks nighttime is the gamma slider. Automatic nightvision, and it's awful.

    Suggestion for killing on sight

I remember once actually fighting zombies with friends. Our car had crashed, near a bridge, and for some reason there seemed to be thrice the amount of zombies as usual. What ensued was a real battle; we shot wildly, taking refuge on the bridge while one of our friends treated one of our wounded. Fighting zombies turned out to be the funnest experience I've had so far, but only because the situation was just so perfect for it. Usually, people act incredibly stupidly in the events leading up to a 'zombie battle.' ie, the game just doesn't set you up to battle them as much, because they can easily be circumvented with stealth or just by running away. Zombies need to be tougher in the sense that they will, the second a group lets their guard down, attack them senselessly and without mercy. An individual? Well, in that case, you need to be wittier than brawnier to get out of the hole full of shit you've found yourself thrown into, because running and gunning shouldn't get you out of the thick of it when you're attacked by a horde of zombies. Looting a building within a city or town, no matter how petty the loot, should require more thought than "How can I avoid getting spotted by players." When I play, zombies are merely a distraction, an alert for these players. I try to avoid them simply because they can alert others of my presence; not because I actually fear them. Hopefully, in standalone, when I have a teammate provide overwatch from a rooftop, it should be primarily to protect me from zombies. Please, make us fear them, without them being an annoyance.

Creative use of the combat roll

I killed ten people in retaliation!
  14. Honestly, this would be cool. I often have to wait long periods of time while staking out fortified clan bases, usually with a friend. It'd provide a safer alternative than me tabbing out to browse the interwebs.
  15. The guns sold can't be transferred over to other servers but their own, so it doesn't matter. And yes, they can sell whatever they want, it's their server. Join a private hive whose admins are held accountable by their community. There are plenty of good private hives with admins who don't sell items.

Your interest is noted, but you forgot to praise my zealous defense of the tree.

    Character's appearance changes

Your clothes should wear and tear when you get shot, stabbed, beaten, scratched, etc-- in which case, survivors will want to get new, undamaged clothes. Physical changes should reflect mostly in your character, not necessarily his gear. Beards, scars, tattoos would make survivors more attached to their character, not just their gear.

    Blood Transfusion Kits

You should be able to 'craft' your own, with a chance of injuring yourself, or it just not working.

I wish I could give you more beans.
  20. And renewable power like windmills, etc makes the game just too damn easy!
  21. I had an idea wherein certain stores could have gas generators in the basement. You could board up the storefront, repair the gas generator (like you would a vehicle) and keep it fueled so it powers the building. If the generator runs out of gas, the power ceases. If you don't oil the generator frequently enough, it breaks. Practical uses for restoring power to a store/home/etc. Running, clean water Lights Stoves for cooking certain foods Power tools, welders, etc; for crafting, perhaps gun modifications Radio equipment

    Handing over items

With any luck, we'll be able to sling the lighter guns over our back.
  23. Gas-powered generators are the way to go.

    Permanent injuries

Again, these injuries which persist after you've 'healed up' should only be aesthetic, to prevent people from killing themselves to get a new spawn.

vehicles need to be more common

Finding a regular, civilian vehicle shouldn't be a difficult task. Repairing it, and finding an adequate amount of fuel, should be the real challenge. Scouring the entire map just to find a vehicle should only occur when searching for military vehicles; off-road, lightly armored cars that are really worth finding. Survivors should have to gauge whether or not they will have enough fuel to make a trip, and carefully hoard every last drop. Fuel should be the real challenge, not vehicles (except for military and off-road vehicles, which should be rare.)
