I mean its not like i dont want to get good fps, and spend less mony, so i think i will give it a try. The only reason i was against custom building was beacuse i didnt know if i would be able to do it. so if you could help me i would be thankfull :)

I mean im used to playing on very low graphics and getting 10-25 fps lol, any thing better that that im ok with. But sice you think custom building is the way to go, il do some research on exactly what it entails :)

Im not looking for an amazing computer, i mean if i could get 30-40 fps in cities id be more than happy.

I have EXTREMELY low computer knowledge and i have no clue on how to build a computer, i want to buy a pre built computer so i dont have to assemble anything.

Hey im thinking about buying the alienware x51 gaming desktop, but im not sure how well dayz will run on it, the specs are: -3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i5-3330 (6M Cache, up to 3.0 GHz) -8GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz -1TB SATA 3Gb/s (7,200RPM) 32MB Cache -NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 640 1GB GDDR5 If you could give me an estimate of what settings i could play on without problems, it would very helpfull :)

Well, with all these things il have to upgrade (graphics card, RAM) Its going to end up over $1000. Im on a budget of about $700. What machine would get the most out of dayz for about $700?

I could upgrade it to the GTX 660, would that be better?

Hey im relatively new to DayZ, and was wondering if anyone wanted to hook up and play with me. Ive had a few lives and im sick of wandering around alone. I have skype so we can communicate.

So i installed DayZ a few days ago, and have had a few hours game time. My first life i spawned thinking i started out with a gun. And that was not the case. So i was chased across a field by about 10 zombies, and was eventualy killed. My second life went alot better, i got enough bandages and painkillers to get me through any injuries that might occur. So i was doing good, skullking around Elektro looking for suplies. I came across 2 survivors that took a few potshots at me and ran off. So that got me wanting a gun to defend myself. I eventualy found a church that had been fortified with barbed wire, and had a few tents strewn about inside. I hopped the wire an made my way over to one of the tents, and lucky enough, i found a markov! I continued to look around the church for more suplies. I had gotten enough and turned around to leave, just in time to see the doors swing wide open, and a survivor toting an ak-47 burst through and riddled me with lead. So im laying there bleeding out while he is fending off the zombies that had been atracted by the gun fire. I regained consciousness and atemped to patch myself up, thinking he would spare me, when all the sudden he turns around and sees i have gotten up, and putts a bullet between my eyes......... Not the most productive day, but i enjoyed it :)
