Im sensing alot of ppl really dont have the stomach to play a game like dayz. Sure most of us have played pvp games before...but its different than for instance counter strike where u run around, careless about losing ur life. Permadeath, no save, no safe zone...alot of players simply dont have the balls to play this game. And im not saying im freaking happy when someone kills me after ive spendt a couple dayz gearing up....but at some point ur reaction is just too emotional and u should rightfully consider playing another game.

Oh so its like real life then...I find it odd that players rage about being betrayed by strangers...what the hell did u expect?? U dont trust strangers 100% in real life do u? U trust u friends...the ppl uve known for some time. Ppl u meet random arent ur friends just because uve exchanged names and had a chat. Yea u are really a jackass My best advice is to stick to one server...get to know the regular players there. Maybe u meet some...he dosent KOS u, wave and be off...maybe next time u meet u have a chat. Still not friends...but its a start. And now u trust this stranger more that total strangers. In other words...its takes time to build friendsship, like in the real world.

all fine video, but to much hiding behind the wall in 3rd person...just downgrades the whole fight to the level of...another game.

I killed 7 players in 20 mins just by laying prone in 3rd person on top of the firestation at NWAF....then I laughed out loud and changed server to hardcore

Is it possible that the precentage of spill is affected by the physical state ur in? ingame that is...after running for a while, being hungry with wounds that havent been cleaned...maybe the spill is larger?

Ahh denial...the truth about the sample is probaly that 1st person ppl are severly underrepresented. Im just saying that based on nothing because im in denial. Most likely real value close to 90% 1st person advocates

Either u are not reading all posts in this thread or u are in serious denial...or just plain dumb. I already told u that u only need 100 participants in a poll modelling a population of 1 million. There is no need at all for 1% of the dayz player base.

I said thats more than enough...u need a sample of 100 participants to model a population of 1 millon with a 10% error margin. Do some research on the Bell curve to understand this.

If I needed a shave..yesAnyways...I see alot of ppl talking about removing 3rd from the game entirely. Wouldnt bother me...but its not gonna happend. Why? It would be commercial suicide. Not gonna happend. There will be some form of segregation of the platstyles...which is solution that pretty much perfect for everyone. Some form mechanism need to be in place so that there just as many 1st as 3rd person servers to choose from.

Well...we have different experiences with online craftig systems...from the description I would label the crafting system as well-rounded, not extensive. Games like Mortal Online have a extensive crafting system.

Any particular reason why mods dont merge all these KOS threads?...daily ppl make new threads about the KOS topic. Its getting annoying and its cluttering up the forum.

If ur enjoyment argument is a vaild argument then a casual COD argument is just as vaild....they are the same type of argument, ur own subjective opinion that everyone is entitled to have. If u ask me, none of them are vaild as arguments in this discussion. A vaild argument, as an example, would be seeing over walls with third person or the clunky 1st person.
