So dont expect that the dozens of modder created maps out there to be converted to standalone? -
As the headline says...compass is pointing slightly to the left..why on earth would they make it like this? Although its not really a problem when u only need to get a rough sense of direction. But...if they plan to let us the map and compass to plott a course, u cant use the compass as it is now. When u hold a compass u need to hold it straight...now its ambiguous as to whether the right direction is the direction the compass points, or if its straigh forward (which would be the most sensible).

Whether the map is to big or small is entirely dependent on the number of players on the map. If the map was twice as big...cars and choppers would be make more sense. Traveling would require planning etc...which could be interesting. Been playing this map on and off since alpha, and im pretty much tired of the whole map now...and kinda disappointed by knowing that a second map wont be in the pipeline for a long time :(. They can add cars, housing etc etc....its still the same boring Chernarus map :P Thing is....when u start to know the map to well...u start to travel the same routes that u know....and this just makes the map feel even smaller and more repetetive

1st person cameraview is to low

What really bugs me about the placement of the cameraview is that the whole element of scouting out a window in a building kinda..eh flies out the window. That tactical element of the game dosent work....its like peaking around a wall, imagine if that didnt work in game. How hard could it be to raise the cameraview a notch?? -

Although u can survive for some while without food, most players seem to forget that we are almost running all the time with our characters (sometimes with a huge backpack that could weigh 20 kg). With all the running around it would burn energy at a much faster rate. And secondly if u havent eaten for a couple days u wouldnt even have the energy to run around like we do in game. So I dont think the food/drink system is to unrealistic at all. -

If ppl roleplay 100%, preferably on a RP server I would say its okey....otherwise its not okey to sexually harass ppl ingame. I would never do such a thing because I dont know what kind of person im talking to...might aswel be a 12 yerar old girl for that matter. And sexual harssment on the internet is illegal too. Ppl have been legally prosecuted for it before.

There is always a good bunch ppl that simply dont understand this when a game is being developed. -
Although I understand the argument that some weapons dont fit the setting of Chernaurus. But then again we have military bases on the map, military carwrecks (atleast in the mod) etc. My point is that whatever happend during the first days or months of the zombie outbreak, its not unreasonable to assume that considerable military force was deployed in the area. Which would leave military weapons and gear scattered around. Maybe there was a joint operation from many countries...whatever, its not hard to justify there being military weapons laying around the map.

I dont think anyone would be overweight with the amount of running u do in Dayz. Imagine urself in the zombie apocalypse...no more Mc Donalds for u fatty...and u better run like hell when the zombies come. U would get slim pretty fast. -

Look here man..or mod...ppl are tired of these threads. How about u mods do ur job and either merge these threads with existing threads or just graveyard the whole thread. OP obviously did not use search before he posted...there are already dosens of threads on the same exact subject...KOS or PVP. And daily new ones are being made.
