The only motivational factor I can give u OP is that in 3rd person u dont have to listen to the god damn annoying breathing when u run (its to loud!)...every time I have to bring the sound down or the neighbours might think im having a very long fapping session

Not sure if using a map slows down the process of learning the landscape or not. I feel it does cos ur not really observing the landscape as much when ur using a map...its just finding the general direction and go there. Stop using the map and start observing the landscape...

Dayz has been the only game ive played consistently for several years...started in the mod at some point. The emphasis on realistic gameplay, huge open world and multiplayer is what does it for me.

Ever noticed that the compass isnt pointing straight forward when u hold it? If u hold north straight forward in the compass, the compass box is tilted slightly to the right...or was it left, cant remember. Its tilted.

We should be able to eat the players we kill...seriously. Infact eating players, fishing and hunting animals should be 60% of the available food in the game. 30% should be pickables...and 10% should be cans of beans....or something like that. Or maybe 5% canfood, 65% player, animal and fish...

That would pretty much prevent players from cannaibalizing just for trolling or fun. It would be cool if u could build up resistance to cannibal related infections/diseases over time. For instance lower the risk of getting disease by 2-5% for every player u eat....and maybe getting less energy from ordinary food as u eat more humans. The last bit is kinda iffy since it probaly isnt very realistic to get less energy from ordinary food just because u cannibalize. Certain items, vaccines could be found in the world to counter cannibal related diseases making the whole thing a dynamic type of gameplay some may want to pursue.

So cannibalism as a last resort happends and will happend under the right circumstances. Most of u are probaly to young to remember it, but the story was quite famous because of the extreme situation the passangers had to deal with.

U are still basing ur argument on cannibalism as a gamemechanic in dayz that dosent even exist...u are comparing the existing gamemechanic...shooting ppl to cannnibalism which dosent exist in dayz. Silly

I already told u...humans killing humans and zombies eating humans. Whether the zombies are eating us not is not the point either. The point was that cannibalism is at the same level of violence as killing humans with a gun or a zombie killing a human. U are comparing cannibalism as a gamemechanic to the other gamemechanics we have in the game and telling me cannibalism is more violent...again just silly rhetoric from u. The gamemechanic for cannibalism in dayz dosent exist now....u cant compare them in any way. The acts of violence we already do in dayz, killing ppl etc are equally violent as cannibalism would be. Most of ur post here up until now is just nitpicking using silly rhetoric, and im not gonna bother more with u if u continue it.

Cannibalism could be made in the same way...tame as u call it. U could just make the carcass dissapear and have a text saying u ate some meat. The fact that Dayz atm atleast...portrays zombies eating humans, humans killing humans in a non explicit way, dosent mean that cannibalism isnt on the same level of violence as those acts. U could just make the violent acts we already have very explicit and make cannibalism as tame as u want. Its kinda weird to say zombies eating humans is less violent than humans eating humans...they are on the same level of violence.
