    When i try to start the game a message pops up saying "Display adapter does not support formate D24S8 for X8R8G8B8" whatever that means. Could this be the adapter i am using for my monitor to Graphics card ( VGA to DVI adapter)??? This is my first computer build, still learning all the details. Thanks for the help. Im so close to playing :)

    I am new to Dayz, and want to be able to be able to play it at high settings with full servers. i have a desktop computer i do not use that i can get parts for to turn into a gaming computer. What do you recommend for video cards, etc? i dont need a high end game computer, just something that will play the game well. all i know right now is that it has an intel pentium 4 processor, will that work? not sure which version of windows it has or how much memory or the video card yet Any advice appreciated thanks

    i have the same exact problem. I have an old desk top and im trying to figure out what parts to get for it to run the the game at high settings without spending a fortune. so if anyone has recommendations for us, please reply. thanks
