I used to have stashes, but i didn't hide them on the edge of the map, i find small valleys or gullys in the middle of the map or near the coast (I had a stash of about 7 cars near Otmel, didn't get found for about three weeks believe it or not). Nowadays i just have a car, a heli and a tent, and thats how i plan to keep it. -
What's your longest survival time?

2 weeks, survived a massive all server firefight, several hackers, a heli crash, 2 blown up cars, finally met my end in a car chase which ended in a showdown when i ran out of gas and road. -

If you could make 3 specific changes what would they be?

Character customization, like clothes, shoes, hats, and choices should have an effect on gameplay, heavier clothes keep you warm but slow you down ect ect. Wandering hordes of zeds that roam the map aimlessly and are attracted to gunfire/explosions/fire/ect. Customizable weapons, the ability to add, say a scope to an m16 or a red dot sight to a shotgun would really add to the experience, doubly so if each attachment has pros and cons (weight of the gun being a con, the heavier a gun is the harder it is to bring up quickly and lug around) -

A week usually, but as nasty said it can vary on private hives, if your on a private hive a good idea is to ask an admin or a server regular.

9.5/10 Massive, realistic game that is both rewarding and frustrating in just the right way.

New story, this one is on a private hive. Im running along the coast around Krutov Cap. Suddenly a car comes up behind me. It came to a stop and one of the occupants jumped out and opened fire on me. I ran as fast as i could. I turn around to see the car speeding towards me, pedal to the floor. In a panic i raise my M16 ACOG and fire wildly. Suddenly the car veers to the left and rams into a tree, I had somehow managed to kill the occupants by pure luck.

IDK what would happen to my playstyle, but at one dollar/euro/ruble/whatever a pop my bank account would drain faster than the US debt is climbing. -
What say you? I think having large roaming groups of zeds would be interesting, would love to see it in the standalone.

What type of playstyle do you prefer?

I have two playstyles. Stealth and speed, then run and gun. stealth for looting, run and gun for when I get spotted. -
