I figured, allowing for servers to be run by individuals within a set of limits would prolly take a lot of strain off BIS. -

Hi all, after my recent map switch i figured it was time to advertise! Undefined features Sarge's AI framework; AI bandits that shoot everything that moves, AI survivors that shoot zeds and bandits. Cherno and NWAF are a lot more dangerous now. Wasteland color fitlers: Ever play Wasteland? Notice the gloomy yellow hue some servers have? Well, i implemented that here! Gives Dayz a whole new feel. Wrecks with weapons boxes and survival gear. Youll find these around the map. 200 vehicles: Skodas and other crap cars will be found in drivable condition, better vehicles will need repair. Twitter feed with updates on server status and changes. https://twitter.com/UndefinedDayz Auto refuel enabled. Vehicle wipes weekly

Celle and Chernarus are tied for me, 2nd is Taviana, 3rd Panthera, and then Namalsk at 4th (i never really dug the stalker/DayZ feel)

IMHO it also makes one more likely to run into to someone (or squad of AI suddenly appearing out of the fog well within range.) you could have avoided with more viewdistance but i see your point.

I run a server. I have things set so that there are elements made easier and elements made harder. I have permanent wrecks scattered about the map that have a few weapons crates, but they are in vulnerable locations. I have about 250 vehicles, but most of them are boned and need repairs. I have a custom weather setup with constant extreme conditions that make it impossible to see past 250 meters at best. Also working on adding roaming AI that will shoot at you. TLDR:Easier to get weapons and gear, harder to survive with said gear and get transport.

I usually play legit on my server, but I cant say the same for other admins sadly, a lot of the newer players on my server become suspicious of every move I make. They give the rest of us a bad name. -
Meh, I made my server load-out a CZ550, a few rounds of ammo, a makarov, and NO food or water....its mostly to make everyone a threat and its actually reduced the KOS a little, knowing that everyone can shoot back.

After tinkering with this map in the editor and trying some of the weapons (Holy F*** there are some good guns on this map) Ive decided this is the next map for my server.

Optic with magnification or optic with no magnification in general?

Doesn't the SA58 ACOG have a BUIS (back up iron sight) on top of the ACOG? And i know the G36 has a combo optic (though the scope mode is a pain to figure out what range the crosshairs are set at.) I have added a few guns to my server that have a combination red dot/ACOG sighting system (L85 ACOG, and a few MK16 variants.) -
Crappy FPS - PC or Arma II engine?

Arma is VERY CPU intensive, when i play, my CPU usually pegs at 80% while my GPU hits like...40-50% Saving up for an upgrade, my core 2 duo is painful. -
