My AMD upgrade wasn't that pricy actually, $250 for an MSI Mobo, 8Gb of Kingston ram, and an FX6300. The HDD I got bumped it to just above three bills.

"Golfclap.gif" Also, +87 on optimization, i just got a new CPU and only now am i getting decent frames. And i had equipment on par with 75% of the other players. Seeing systems that can run BF3 at 30 FPS choke on dayz is a little...ridiculous. -
Revamp the damage system PLEASE. For example, as of now, if you fuck up your vehicles engine...it explodes. Ehh, how is this realistic? if you screw up your engine it should stall, and not kaboom. (WELL, small chance of catching on fire, then maybe kaboom) How about making damage have an effect on handling, like say, if you have a damaged hull, you wont be able to drive in a straight line or turn or brake as fast as you normally would. Or if you damage your engine, how about not accelerating as fast, or a lower top speed. Wheels and fuel, i think atm these are fine where they are. Also make it so that damage has a visual indication beyond changing the texture, make it so that things like dents, or structural damage appear. Just my 2 cents.

HD5750 here, would love a new card but I had to replace my CPU (core 2 duo) and Mobo first. I do farm hand work and drive an 80's model SUV that sucks fuel so its a little out of my budget atm. That said, with the new CPU (FX-6300) im getting 30 give or take FPS in cherno, "shrug"

TLR has a massive assload of scripts that the server has to run, and that really bogs down some users frames. Also, wrong section man. -

I'm also going to say that PC is like the HAM radio of gaming, while consoles are like an AM/FM car radio, Shure, you can play games on console, but with a PC you can do soooooooooo much more. -

First, i buy a key, 2nd, i drive to best buy at the speed of light to get a new hard drive because my current one is almost full, 3rd, i switch my server to SA, 4th, cry with joy. -
YOu have to realize that because of its modded nature, dayz gets even worse FPS than regular arma.

I think a whole new site is prolly in the works, the mod isnt going to go bye bye when the SA drops. One site for the mod, one for SA.

I believe its a week after the last person touched it, but most likley it will be stolen within a day or two ( im always moving my vehicles around to minimize the chance, but i still loose em)

Im a fairly good pilot, nothing spectacular though (but i have mastered a method of turning a huey or lil bird around 180 degress on its ass in 7 seconds...Mi17 though...not so much. :/ )

Ill send a skype when i get done with my work here. :) Bout an hour or two left before i can bug out. EDIT just sent a request, forgot that while skype is blocked on the local network, its not blocked on Sprint 3G. :P
