Hey all, I was in town today when an opportunity came along that I couldn't pass up. I have been planning to do a "Real DayZ items" post for a while but, Uni, family, work, life in general get in the way. I saw a NZ Blood Service blood drive and decided there is no time like the present (Please consider donating). Some items are not exactly correct: The M14 is a chinese knock off (Norinco M305) with the AIM sight or the Schmidt & Bender optic etc for the DMR. The Lee Enfield has been "Sporterised". Alice Pack has Camo pattern. Camo clothes Shirt incorrect. There are other errors, but you know, don't be a douche about them. Hope you get a laugh from it anyways. Just a thought, Where the hell is all the booze? Empty whiskey bottles are everywhere, don't tell me the entire population of Chenarus promptly skulked EVERY bottle of booze. An extremely rare drop of booze would be nice. Also the ability to poison a drink food or bandage would be nice too. It would allow double crosses on a level not currently available. If items are now truly objects then food, drinks, and bandages could be poisoned. A rare spawning plant could be harvested for berries that could be processed into a poison that could be applied to the items. Also multiple packets of painkillers could be able to be added to items as well for a similar effect. Just my two cents worth.

Spawning loot unbalances the game. It makes it too easy to get gear and means you never actually learn how to gear properly. I pray to the Flying Spaghetti Monster (or Flying Beans Monster if you prefer) that the standalone is secure. That way I can laugh at these pathetic skiddies who can't even find a hatchet legitimately.

Remove it please. As has been mentioned it causes too many issues currently.

I just wanted to shame them for their complete inability to play the game. There is nothing I can do other than mock them or stop playing altogether. I live in a rural location so pretty much all of the private hives are out for me (ping > 150ms most of the time). When I first started playing this game I absolutely loved it. I played Operation Flashpoint and it's sequels, hell I even played Virtual Battlespace (VBS) and VBS2 (ex-military). So to have this game I enjoy ruined sucks. I can't afford to get a private server (student). Longevity is no longer an option so harassing the ones that are ruining it is the only fun left for me. Watching three full kitted scripters running away as I chase (unarmed) them has a Monty Python type feel to it. Refer to the video below if this statement confuses you: (credit: Monty Python)
