Well, still waiting on anyone from the DayZ "staff" to give word, if it is allowed: I will do it in a heartbeat. Plus a question, if I do it to the server files...would that perhaps help all the players? Or would it then kick all the players who haven't done this "fix"?

Bump to hopefully get an official word. Can this be used on legitimate Hive servers without a ban from the Hive server? and at worst bans from the server you are playing on?

Does sound like a good idea...but I wouldn't do it, without some kind of official "go ahead and fix it by yourself"

Get your friend to install it, move over the folder to steam, let steam run a "verify steam cache", let steam download the new files. Profit. As far as i know.

I sure do hate people: 1: Too lazy to check if this is a very old known issue. 2: Too lazy to actually make a proper video. 3: Too lazy to quality control a 2 minutes short video, I can understand not watching a 1 hour video to see if everything checks out.. but 2 minutes, WTF! 4: Who think people are too stupid to press a subscribe button, if they want to subscribe. 5: Knowingly spreading a exploit, instead of reporting it to the bug section/devheaven (even though it would be pointless because it has been reported about 38 times already, but you made the wrong choice with the bug you "found") 6: Who think "haters going to hate" when they get called on their crappy video. But you see here....I just gave you better pointers on who to improve your youtube channel, than any of the people you get to click the subscribe button, and you will properly just ignore it. Did you max out Dead Zone? Try removing all Dead zone, so if you move the mouse, you should move the "camera"

Also, after you save it...save it about 3 more times, and make sure there are no Desync chains in the next couple of minutes...or risk it isn't around when you log in.

I am not "enforcing" personal opinion. It is a high damage, extreme noise, high recoil, low ammo, no zeroing with a pretty bad scope gun. Yes you can see at night, but you are soo extremely zoomed in, you can't use it to navigate with. All in all, it is a pretty damn dire gun...I know, I have had plenty and as much as I enjoy using them, they are all in all a bad gun. As evidenced in the fact that you are trying to get rid of it. If it was a good gun, you would put that shit in a tent and save it for your next respawn. Just saying. And I wrote because what you want for it, is completely out of reason. 2 NVGs?? that is almost laughably over the top.

This is a bad trade and nobody should not make it, even if it is the FN FAL with night vision version (IE the "rarest" gun in the game), plain FN FAL is a pretty bad gun, high damage...but that is it. Well i suppose you can trade a CZ for it, but that is the only thing that OP asks for that is a fair trade.

would just like to say, the life expectancy was 4 hours and 29 mins, the day I started playing....and 30 mins the next day. I don't exactly put high stock in the number.

"I did up the Visibility distance to about 3800-4000 because my comp can take it" visibility is set serverside....what you set it too, has no effect while playing DayZ. Also your fix only works for a certain amount of time....after playing on the server for long enough, you will get back the graphics glitches. Might as well keep your settings where you want them...in my experience. The only "fix" is to Exit the game, relaunch it and enjoy 30-45 mins glitches free playing, rinse and repeat. and sometimes that doesn't even work.
