........??? What? Gonna take a wild stab in the dark, you want to play the mod..but you don't want to pay for it. Yes you can play it with the demo (ARMA 2 Free) + Operation Arrowhead, but it will be horrible textures. If you don't mind that, go ahead, save 10€. The map is from ARMA 2, the mod is a mod for Arrowhead. "Costs alot"?? 25€ compaired to 50-60€ for a new game...and you get 2 games + a great mod (and alot of other cool missions/mods). It only takes forever to download, if you have a crap connection...and even then, you can just leave the download going overnight. It is not a problem with battleye, it is a problem with the Arma engine. And the fact that Arma all of a sudden got popular. It used to have a "small" but stable community of mostly mature players, If somebody came on a server and hacked, a Admin would usually have a easy time of finding out who/how and ban the person. Then DayZ came along, now there is a fair amount of money and tears in making scripts for Arma.

Because generally a game works better if there is a graphics engine behind it....a Zombie FPS survival game would suck in text format.

Yeah...this is not really something you should advertise. It is a exploit, and should be treated as such.

You should enable it, 1.62.95248 is the current "normal" patch. Go into the expansion menu and make sure "beta" and "expansion" is enabled.

Maybe a better system...but would probably require alot more coding. Another feature that is a waste of time, until the standalone.

Basicly what is being done ATM (except only 5 secs, as a test...can still be upped in a later patch, if it is not enough)...it wasn't implemented this patch, as the arma engine still prohibits it...but it will come around soon enough.

1: Have a report, grow up and treat people nicely, even if they disagree with you. 2: Meh, it is a pretty bad idea. The current idea of a 5 sec disconnect, is a much better idea...and from reading the patchnotes sounds like it will be implemented when the Arma engine has had a few more beta patches.

It will keep failing to verify 1 file every time, even if you verify 30 secs after the last verify. Other steam games does this too. Not a biggie. The artifacting is issue you can remedy by setting one of your settings to low, can be bother to find out which one...there have been other threads on it. Find some place where the artifacting occurs and fiddle with settings, until it disappears. If that doesn't help, then your computer is simply overheating and you need to lower settings anyways and let it cool off.

Try installing it correct (use sixupdater and let it do it all for you) And make sure everything is enabled in the Expansion menu.

The video card is from the current generation, it is a AMD, not a Nvidia. Anyways, it can run it fine. And there is no point in upgrading your RAM for ARMA (hardcoded to 2 gigs MAX). Your bottleneck is more likely to be your CPU or harddisk.. Dammit, everytime i think i am out, they keep pulling me back in, by given bad advice :/

Holy shit, Minecraft has updated it's graphics for the 1.3 update... have to admit, I don't like the new Zombie skin. On a serious note, using 1/5 of the video on a title card that holds the wrong name....abit out of balance.
