Skalisty island is a great place, if you wanna chill out, collect some meat, refill water bottles......and hope there is a chopper. I had a camp there until 1.7.2.4 when a admin came over to investigate if the choppa was there....Paradise was lost :/

I hate to be callus, but: Die more, and learn from it. 1: you have learned to be more careful with doors, and am now more vary when using "arma door logic" 2: you can lose a zombie by breaking Line of sight, and then hiding (stop making noise and moving around) the zombie will investigate the last area he saw you, and assuming you didn't re-aggro somehow he will simply wander off. Or simply move far enough away, while line of sight has been broken. 3: You just have to learn the houses by heart. If you find a type of building you can enter, you will always be able to enter that type of building, no matter where on the map. (same "model" placed over and over again) 4: Rightclicking in inventory and your mousewheel, is how you do most things in the game. Right click in inventory to affect yourself. Mousewheel to affect the world.

1: I assume you mean holding down right mouse button. TBH, I always considered it to be focusing on something....kinda like you can do in real life. 2: Yeahhh. But at the same time, alot of time is spent crossing the map...so gameplay wise it would probably be bad/annoying. I still support the general Idea, but how do you factor in running from zombies? If being chased by 10 zombies, I think most people would be able to run further than normal. 3: Would just make the FPS even worse, on every server. Not a bad idea, but with the current implementation of the zombies....maybe not the best. For a hopefully better running standalone, no doubt.

Use Sixupdater....or dayzcommaner (never tried it, sixupdater works fine for me)

Destroyed vehicles are suppose to spawn at random extra time. To prevent people from blowing up vehicles, if they fuck them up. And have them magicly show up in better condition on the next server restart. (sorry about the "7 days", mixed things up abit) <--- http://dayzmod.com/f...ide-2012-06-16/

well, almost nobody is actually "alpha testing it" they are just playing it.

Vehicles respawn 7 days later.

There was a bugfix released in the last few days, from battleye. I assume not all the server have installed it yet.

But as other people have said, getting good FPS in ARMA, more specificity DayZ, is about your CPU. But you have a pretty good CPU, upgrading it now is abit of a waste.

670 is the best current GPU, I can recommend. I myself would buy a AMD 78**, due to the price/performance. Or a 77**, for the money is not enough. THAT BEING SAID. A 300watt PSU, is not enough to power it all reliably. You should look into some more like a 500-600 watt, unless you want the option to SLI later on, in which care consider getting a 700Watt+. And do get a good PSU, they are the heart of you computer, buy a cheap one and you will regret it.

+1 Less ALICE packs, and no backpack on spawn....if you are washed up the shore, you shouldn't have a backpack...at least the way i figure it.

and for your next report, you might wanna add the full server name. "DE 1811" or "US 1811", was it NL 1811?

Nope, only thing you should get as an "reward" for playing better is purely cosmetic "items". And this is a carebear talking, I would love for people to tone down the PvP and make smarter decisions..but being rewarded with usefull ingame items is a bad idea. At least in my honest opinion.

You also tremble if you are very low on blood...not as extreme shakes of pain. Trembles will occur about every 1½~ sec. A another way to fix a cold, seems to be relogging. Also seem to remember heatpacks cures it too.

And on the map, you can put.... Also the GPS is from Arma, learn where to write to, you choose the wrong ½ of the "game"(mod)

MK38 is legit...the amount of ammo suggest he has been using relogging or tent to refill his clips. Puss move, but nothing about his inventory is screaming hacked, just exploited. And don't say you have never relogged to refill a clip, I doubt you are part of the 0.01% who has never do it.

Actually battleeye does do its job...sadly the arma community was a very mature community until 3-4 months ago, and thus the anti-hacking was never really tested and the Arma engine was never setup with anti-hacking in mind. EDIT: It's = its...sue me, been up all night.

Don't add the "-exThreads=7" as it is not worth it, doesn't really help all that much (if at all) and adds a unnecessary overhead. The problems with FPS is most likely tied to the server, a server that has been running for a while will give worse FPS. Player x Uptime = horrible FPS. Fresh servers with no player = excellent FPS.
