Rocket/DayZ didn't nerf the guns. ARMA/BIS did...there is a right and a wrong forum. Go take it up on the right one. And the Enfield still basicly is a one shot kill gun....soo what gives? You shoot him once, he drops like a sack of potatoes and you wait for him to bleed out, or put another round into him.

Basicly what the nice people already said. 1: Wait a day, maybe it is a bug with the beta patch or something. 2: Write to battleeye, and see if a mistake was made (don't expect all too much, battleeye seem to be dealing with wayyy more than they are used to) 3: Go back to your retailer, and take it up with them....maybe crap happened and you got a CD-key that has already been used/busted. All of this is assuming that you truly did not hack/script. If you did, buy a new copy and don't hack next time. Sorry best I can do.

I believe tents/cars despawn/respawn in original location, if they are left idle for 7 days. Can't be bother to find the thread, sorry..going to bed soon. If a vehicle doesn't spawn at a server restart, they should reappear next restart. Tested with a missing chopper, was back next restart.

What fps/performance will my specs get me on DayZ/Arma II in general?

It depends on the server you are playing on, how long it has been up + how many players are/have been on it. And ofc what settings you want to play on. You can probably get 60 FPS in the right circumstances, but you should expect 20-30 on normal servers. And 15~ in larger cities. There are few tweaks you can do, but I would bet dollars to doughnuts that it is more in your head. -

No proof, why would the DayZ staff do anything? If you want something done, you need to have some kind of proof, video, screenshot or recordings from their Ts.. Anything other than a wild accusation on the forum. -

Just discovered that you can use a Xbox 360 Controller.

.....Zombies, if you can punch them in the face, they can bite your face off. As it is: zombies do very little damage and are easy to get away from. And finding a weapon at start is not hard, you just have be a little more careful.

The lack of a "true map border", is a arma problem/feature. So why are you bitching on the DayZ forum about? The Arma forum is on Bohemia Interactive Studio's website. http://www.bistudio.com/ Sure DayZ could place a border of fences all the way around the map....and then we could all play with a lovely solid 5 FPS. Clear enough?

weee, another person who doesn't know the difference between Arma and DayZ. Also, you can put vehicles/tents beyond the border, but they will get wiped. Do your research, before posting.

Your FPS depends on the server you are playing on. Depending on how long the sever has been up + how many players have been playing on it.

Assuming you are talking about Skalisty island....just have him swim back. And have a fire/heatpack ready on the otherside. (you don't lose loot anymore, unless the admin of the server is a numbty that hasn't enabled the option yet.)

Carebear talking here. But I don't want anyone to get punished for how the want to play, I will still think they are pussies (like Mr.Dev trying to be cool and paraphrasing a old internet picture). It is a Sandbox game, I want it to remain a sandbox game. PK'ers just add to the tension. And TBH, if you can't avoid PK'ers..you need to get better at the mod (no offense intended, just stateing a opinion). Surviving 2 weeks is not hard..just play careful and avoid common hunting grounds, unless you are in a group. -
Short freezes are common for me too...waiting 10-15s will usually let it continue. And sometimes the download of "41kb" will just get stuck and you best restart the whole game. 1: Try waiting a full minute before you press OK. 2: If using steam, verify game cache. 3: Ofc, test on multiple servers. 4: Make sure you haven't been Hive banned or something. Maybe try one of the non-hive server to see if you can join there. 5: Reinstall everything. Best i can do. Sorry

Arma doesn't support such a feature. As of yet. But, no doubt it would be a cool feature, chalk it up on the wishlist for the standalone.
