The relationship between the dev team and the server admins has always been tense. Puts dizzy in an odd pr spot with this incident. I'm rather impartial to this whole thing, but I hope that the disconnect messages issue is given more consideration because of this. Inclusion or exclusion of sidechat: Thematic decision that effects no other issues. Inclusion or exclusion of connect messages: A barely tolerable but NECESSARY workaround for admins to be able to react quickly (and PLAYERS to be able to react at all, especially in defense) until the exploit issue is resolved.

Sidechat is partially gone (some people appear to still be able to use it despite disabled?). Connect messages are still on.

More correctly, logs can be script hacked to erase or modify the logs in any fashion by remote players, yielding server logs unreliable. As for Dizzy being online, I said that. I don't know if you were aware of the trade camp but your posts indicate you were. The trade camp was on before the hacker that detpacked the group up at nwaf that you sent to the ban queue (or in a very similar period of time). I was posting 'where is the trade post' in side chat when I heard you explaining he had received his database level ban.

It was during the actual event. Once about 5 of the people running it were dead. The admin connected to the server is Dizzy.

Someone grenaded US 3 from debug forest.

I went back to the same store, found a new tent in a different spawn location in the store (what are the odds?) and a winny and ammo. navigate out onto street. Log out fully from server. Log back in later. I'm in a different town, south of Zelnogorsk. Again, with beach gear. I move to zenogorsk to try the mart again. End up logging out before I get there. Teleport to another area around the green mountain with reset gear again. Odd things about my situation: Portland server is running Beta Arma 2 Game launched from lobby with no input (marked the start of this bug) Situation seems to be permanent now (corrupted profile?)
