Yeah on ACE you can knock players over...so does that mean the mechanics are already in the game? That said if we can loose/run away from zombies after the next patch, then melee will not be needed IMO. As I said before its new players(normally) who struggle with the Zeds, I can't remember when I was last killed by one let alone needed the option to melee my way out of trouble.
