    If you use Xpadder

I would try it, and probably find a way to make it work with ps3 controller as I like that more.

The Campaign for Iron Sight Zoom

This makes absolute sense. Convinced on all points. Keep this thread right at the top until something's done.

    Weapon Damage and the Undead

Any firearm caliber would be sufficient to penetrate a skull, as per analyzed in Max Brooks's Zombie Survival Guide. A blade penetrating the skull can kill as well as a blunt crushing it. I also feel that weapon condition should affect damage. (If it does already, my apologies, I can't tell) A badly damaged dull knife would take more to kill than a sharp new one, while a cracked bat breaking on swing would lose some force behind it. Badly damaged melees, and even just damaged provided we can repair them with duct tape or something, should do less damage than pristine or worn. Lastly, body shots on infected should also be able to kill, albeit not as easily as a headshot. I feel it should be difficult to body shot kill but not impossible. Dismemberment if possible would be cool too.
  4. I've since died and my new character has a different look that I've found I prefer. So time to update the backstory. I had awoken in a crashed military vehicle, the rest of my squad dead. Peeling myself from the wreck, I headed into my barracks, which was a short walk away from the wreck, and changed into a fresh uniform. Being a combat medic, the uniform wasn't camouflaged, but rather an olive green color. I put my sidearm in my holster and gathered up some canteens, a radio, and a spare mag in a burlap sack and turned to leave. On my way out, I saw a masked man carrying a rifle look at me and yell "Hey there's a live one over here" and he fired at me. I tripped back inside, and looked for a weapon. There was no time to load the pistol so I grabbed a combat knife and stabbed the manin the neck as he came in. I grabbed my burlap sack and ran off into the woods. I don't believe all men are like that. I feel there is good in everyone. That's why I'll use my medical and field knowledge to help those I can. But I'll be careful... None of you crazies or those infected will take me down.. No sir.
  5. Well I like the idea of this, I always role play even just a bit in games I play. (I've made a few back stories for bf4 rush maps) I think I'd give it a shot, right now my characters gear may not match my description but I've been working on finding the gear for awhile The man remembers little about himself except for the name printed on his uniform. Based on it, he gathers he was part of Chernarussian winter ops. Woken up surrounded by corpses, the first thing in sight was a bible. From that moment, the man knew his calling was to bring peace to the wasteland. Dressed in white as a beacon of peace and hope, the man travels the wasteland giving aid and assisting in the collection of supplies. He wears a white mask, as the god doesn't reveal his face. Generally not belligerent, but unhesitant to use an axe to purify the zombies. Also carries a sawn off double barrel and a magnum to cleanse the demons from those that are evil. The man known as "Face" travels around helping people and preserving the texts for the future of chernarus. Anyways yeah that's what my story will be. Deal with it.
