    Dear Dean, There are those within this thread that feel the need to express anger at how you are slow to put out this update, after they all raged at you for releasing a alpha update with some bugs. Does anyone else see the pattern? This thread needs to die. This thread will soon turn into a virus and consume the the worlds network, where somehow and in someway it will go biological, and then infect us all and make this a reality. Then I have a feeling we all will have wished they spent more time training how to survive the zombie apocalypse. Anyone looking for something to write a thesis on human behavior, the day-z forums would be an exceptional choice. Sincerely, :heart:Me.:heart: p.s. Screw zombies that knock you unconscious twice in a row then break your legs...stop trolling me Dean!

    I can't believe somebody wasted their time with this, rather than just playing DayZ while waiting for the update. No patience on these guys! Well we all know rocket is reading this with his troll face engaged. But I wont lie, screw jerry springer, if I want funny I come here.

    One, we don't even know how rare bear traps will be, or hard to make. Nor do we know how big or small they are, or for that matter what they even look like, for all we know they could be neon glow in the dark traps. As for being used to grief, this entire game is meant to do that. I mean the game is built on making it hard to live. "Griefing" in this game is easy to counter as well, called a toolbox, it does wonders. As for the snipers in elektro, check the back hill near the barn and obviously behind factory. If you get sniped in Cherno, I'm sure they are somewhere so obvious its hilarious(check cranes and hospitals, oh btw that capital building in the middle of the square), if not they are in the trees behind apartments.

    I don't think there would be much of a future for DayZ in arma 3 if he quit now. Do not fret though I hear he is off planning the real world zombie apocalypse. It was the only way to stop DC'ing. Talk about immersion.
  6. Zombies at times seem like they randomly aggro(even while crawling) when they are a good distance away. I have picked up on the range with the buff to zombies, so I can avoid them easily enough, but every now and then I get randomly attacked by a zombie that I can usually sneak by since the update. They do not seem to swing through walls anymore (Yay), however they do just sit there at times as if they are stuck on something trying to attack you while you are across the room. I noticed a lot less clipping through walls, except the barn with a blocked back door. They like to pass through that from time to time. Zombies do not cause me to bleed on hit anymore, however I noticed some still complain about it, either I'm luck or they are unlucky? The LOS hiding seems to work real well, I've noticed zombies do come and look for you. The hatchet seems a little buggy, not talking about the animations, the hatchet wasn't doing dmg to a zombie, so I don't know if that was the zombie bugging out or the hatchet. I had to pull out my pistol to kill it. Just thought I'd mention it. Didn't use the crowbar so I can't say anything about it. (personally don't like melee, although I understand as a last resort we could use something to defend ourselves.) The wildlife, did seem more interactive and more populated.(saved me a few times after being shot and then attacked by a lot of zombies) All in all a decent update
  7. Quick fix as usual, good job. Beginning a new character is def something else now. Love watching two people without weapons meet and act like each other are threat. Kind of funny.

    Rocket, how dare you release a patch for your MOD in ALPHA for ARMA 2 the most realistic simulator out there. HOW DARE YOU GUY. You mean you didn't hire people to test this patch out? You mean like every high budget game that never releases alphas you are doing things the way they are meant to be done. I guess I must Google ALPHA and BETA to understand they are completely different releases. Then I should probably Google studio's and developers to understand that you and your team are just people working on a mod without support. Damn you for creating such a brilliant idea and releasing fixes/updates regularly and making a game hard enough to challenge people to think. Wait for it....:heart: I R SO MAD

    Aye, rocket get some sleep, if you havn't already. We understand, in rocket we trust, after all. We know you and the team will get it done as soon as humanly possible. Love the direction this has taken, I died shortly after the patch with some sick gear, and I LOVE it. I love a challenge.:heart:

    These updates make me cry a little, I love, i mean utterly love this mod. So... I say something along the lines of Rocket Interactive, Rocket Entertainment, Infinities Rocket, or Rocket Entertainments. Working titles obviously. On a more serious note, keep up the damn fine work.:cool:

    Temp Revamped.

    I had an idea! Now since the implementation of the temperature element, why not go further and introduce clothing that effects, how fast you lose heat, carry capacity., and/or movement speed. Such as heavy coats would obviously give you more protection from the cold/rain. While light coats would allow you to walk faster, and give you some protection. I do not know if this is possible to implement on arma's engine, as well as the amount of coding that would go into it. But just an idea. Thanks dayZ for taking so much time away from my studies! College isn't important right?
