It is possible to do a home server it is pretty simple to do. But it is only good to do when you are only playing with probably 4-5 people and have a good internet connection and a fast machine.

Well my server was up and running straight away after paying and took just 15 minutes for ersan to change the location to WDC and then after having trouble copying my database from my old Survival Servers database it took him another 10 minutes to do that. I am incredibly impressed at the moment and can't believe it took less than 30 minutes to do something it would have taken Survival Servers 4 days to do.

Shame I was hoping you would have a Washington server available this weekend.

Hi, Dont know how quickly you can reply but thinking of ordering a server tonight, if when one becomes available can I switch from where you have one available now to a different location when a different location becomes available? As living in the UK I only get a good ping on your servers in UK, Holland and Washington. (I play with a few americans so a server in Washington would be best for all) Do you guys have a map tool to allow the viewing of vehicle and player locations? Do you have something similar to DAYZ tools that Survival Servers have? I am currently really torn from swapping Survival Servers to another provider. Sorry for being fussy but I had a really bad experience with Survival Servers, and don't want to pay and waste another month of problems and downtime.

Renting a server from you guys for the past month has been nothing sort of a nightmare. I have given you right up until 9pm before I sent my cancellation to paypal, as I was really hoping you would have fixed the Bad Gateway 502 errors as it has been about 2-3 weeks now and still no fix just it will be done soon, sorry just read you fixed it?????? When do you think you will have some more servers available? My Survival Servers server runs out on Saturday

The server was password protected as it normally always is. I let the server open on certain points to allow new players to join the server so we hopefully get some new recruits. The joining instructions are listed on the server that you have to email me for the password. The server will be open again this weekend without a password.

If you get around the bad gateway error by simply refreshing the page your a very lucky man. I don't seem to be getting any problems at the moment with the server and have switched to Namalsk, the server is greyed out but works fine. I am having problems with the map tool as that doesn't seem to update as well as it used to. The main problems do seem to be over but it would of been good customer service if they offered people compensation for downtime. But instead they only offered it to people who saw a specific error. But like Maxxgold I have now set up my own private server and if all goes well with that tonight and we don't experience much lag I too will be ending my subscription to Survival Servers. Survival Servers service annoyed me that much I looked into how to host my own server that pretty much says it all in regards to their service over the pass 2 weeks. I will add though that *WHEN* the server is up and running correctly the server is alwas quick and never seems stressed. I really enjoyed the first two weeks of the service they provided, I don't know how good other server providers are but when they are all working correctly I seriously doubt any off them are better than each other (except vilayer I always found when joining their servers slow and have higher pings), but Survival Servers do have by far the best tools available again *WHEN* they work.

Still no Bad Gateway 502 fix. My server is due for renewel on Saturday so I guess I will be cancelling now, as this hasn't been fixed for nearly 2 weeks now.

Is there any recommendations on Server suppliers? I have been with Survival Servers for coming on 3 weeks and I have now grown really tired of their shitty service. I like the tools they have. The map tool to view vehicle locations. MYPHP to edit the database. TC Admin to start and restart the server and apply updates. DAYZ tools to change the timezone and add more vehicles to the server and do general server tiding up Is there any other supplier who supplies the same sort of tools? If so I would be very tempted to change supplier. Thanks.

Server has now been upgraded to Bliss v3.7 and all the previous issues seem to have disappeared. If you would like to join a decent well run server then just get in contact. The server is US 1082 Chernarus, if anyone would like to join you are more than welcome. Just email [email protected] we are also going to open the server at the weekend so more people can feel free to join and have a test of the server.

I am getting some very weird stuff with my timezone I want is GMT, i have set it to + 12 GMT so it should be the same time as the server and it is getting dark at 1 in the afternoon I thought it was out by 12 hours so +12 would make it the right time?

So when are all tools going to be fixed? I am still waiting for Map Tool to be working again properly and actually displaying upto date information, the new layout is slightly annoying to use and it doesn't show player locations properly anymore. That's of course if anything works as nice to see the Bad Gateway Error still isn't fixed.

What other tools are available? As the reason I went with Survival Servers was all the tools they have, do you have an equivalent of the DAYZ Tools they have so you can spawn more vehicles and change the time zone? Do you have a map tool to allow me to view all vehicles and players in the game? Which works with Bliss 3.6? Thanks for your reply.

I am looking at leaving Survival Servers at the moment due to very poor service over the past couple of weeks. Do you use PHPMYADMIN to access the database? Cos that would be great if you do as I could just copy my data straight from my other server onto yours without losing all my stuff and data.

Any ETA on Bad Gateway 502? Any ETA on map tool? Is people dying when they log in since Bliss v3.6 a known issue? Not that common but 1 in 10. Sorry but I am not going to do a support ticket again they don't get answered quick enough and last time I asked about Gateway 502 you said your working on it. 2 days ago and it is getting worse day by day.

I have been with Survival Servers for 3 weeks, I had a week of downtime and the customer service is probably the worst I ever experienced. The servers and tools are good WHEN THEY WORK!!!! BAD GATEWAY 502!!!! But extremely rude, poor customer service should also be mentioned. When I first got my server I was very happy everything worked. But first came the 502 Error and then the forced Bliss update and now the servers are full of bugs. I personally would avoid Survival Servers especially for the time being, but I don't know if other companies are having the same issues.

Exactly they claim they have loads of decent new features, but they never work. Survival Servers I would avoid like the plague. They have a week to fix all the problems otherwise I will be leaving them, as two good weeks in 4 is really poor.

Can anyone explain why every time some people are loggin in their just die. I would start a ticket but I have given up with that system now.

You don't need to delete RMOD you just don't enable it.
