The spawning buildings part is really difficult. I have spent hours today trying to get any sort of base type thing and it is just impossible. I have tried reading online which buildings are spawnable and no answers and everyone just states the same thing about using the 3d editor and then importing it into the mission file.

Have you added a base or trading post to the map now?

Have you added any custom buidling to Chernasus? Have you added anything in the form of a base or trading post? I am looking into building a trading post but every guide tells you how to do it using the 3D editor and then importing into the mission file, but we don't have access to the mission file.

If your playing on a Private Hive then the server can be locked and passworded.

Thanks alot, I will try and add it into Chern and see what happens. It prob wont work due to being a different map and needing a different location but will give it a go.

Agreed Survival Servers are the biggest bunch of con artists and thieves to ever enter the server business. My server was down for 10 days and not working properly for alot more. Did I get compensation HELL NO!!! I am now with DayZ.ST and the server has worked the whole time. The only problem was the vehicles being deleted after Bliss v4. It took them 1 hour to fix, that's right 1 HOUR. You look through Survival Servers forum and it has been going on for days. Emails are answered straight away, where Survival Servers give you a generic shit answer after 36 hours. AVOID SURVIVAL SURVERS LIKE THE PLAGUE!! THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE DISEASE!!! I would recommend everyone to switch to DAYZ.ST

That still looks pretty kl though and better than anything I have managed to do. Don't suppose you could backup the buildings part of your database and see if I can put on my server? Also I assume you are running RMOD with those vehicles?

Your server will be up an running the second you click buy. I think it is just the way he has it in place. My server was up instantly, no waiting around like shitty Survival Servers.

Survival Servers are slow out the blocks, when they update I am pretty sure non of their tools will work again for days. To Khyron SS No.1 fan, I don't care if you think I am trolling because if I manage to stop 1 or 2 people making a huge mistake and signing up for Survival Servers I would of done my good deed for the day.

I would leave and join Dayz.ST, Ersan answers all tickets normally within about 15 minutes. Bliss v4 was up last night and so was the Dayz 1.7.3 and problems were fixed and overcome yesterday. But nice to see SS care so much about their customers they just tell you to cancel.

My server is now working fine. The majority of vehicles seem to now be working correctly and back in the database. Very pleased with the quickness and solution to the service. If I was still with my previous supplier (SS) my server would not be working for a week

I am having exactly the same problem my server has been wiped also. I noticed the server has been updated to latest version of DAYZ 1.7.3 and patch 98220, all my vehicles are gone and replaced with default spawns. I have tried to backup from a previous database and nothing. I am sure this is just a tempory clitch and Ersan is working on it, but I really hope I have not lost all my vehicles.

You talk about him being rude, when your comment is just as rude... Yes his language was bad but maybe he saw your ticket response and just clicked 'Thanks' before he tested his server to see if it was actually working, but then I wouldn't expect you to maybe think this may have happened. BTW your support is poor quality..... Leaving you cowboys was the best thing I ever did.

I would highly recommend DayZ.st to anyone. I wouldn't even recommend Survival Servers to Hitler, even I couldn't be that evil.

The easiest way is to always do a manual backup yourself of the 3 important tables. 1. Instance_vehicles 2. Profile 3. Survivor To restore a certain person you need to goto the profile page find the players unique ID next to their name then goto Survivor and sort by the ID you will then find the same ID, then you just need to copy all the information from that survivor into the correct data field. If you are using the backups already created by DayZ.st then restore an old database you know works delete all the data from the Survivor profile except the one you want to move across, now click export and backup the file. Now go back into the Control Panel and restore the database you actually want to use, and click restore now go back into the survivor part and delete the player you want to restore (just deleting one profile) now click import and then import you previous back up of that person. The DayZ.ST backup is very very good but you can't beat a good old fashioned personal backup for extra piece of mind.

I must say I left Survival Servers after a month of having a terrible service, forced Bliss update to 3.5 which brought my server down for about 10 days. Ticket responses which took 36 hours+ and were very generic answers, if it wasn't for these forums the problems I had would never have been fixed. I started with Dayz.St on Friday night and their service is the complete opposite, my server was set up with 5 minutes of payment. I then sent them an email to change the location of the server which was done within 15 minutes. I also had another problem importing my database I backed up from my previous server and again I sent them the files and they imported all the data within another 15 minutes. I would hugely recommmend DAYZ.ST over Survival Servers any day of the week. They are the absolute complete opposites when it comes to customer service and support. I have a very foul taste in my mouth after having to deal with Survival Servers to me they are complete cowboys. I can't comment on other server companies as I have never dealt with them but I did experience lower pings on Vilayer servers when I used to play the game on normal servers. But the lack of tools from HFB and Vilayer never atracted me to them.

If they keep up with their customer service then you will have plenty more bandwidth coming your way.
