Had a cow wander towards me from a wooded area NE of the NE airstrip. I thought about it, a second, and called bs. Demanded cow (over direct) to turn into a goat. After a few Starsky&Hutch "Just do'it!", the cow turns into a goat. I laugh, then demand s/he turn me into a goat. After a few demands (pleads :rolleyes: ) I hear over direct, in a goat's bleating-voice, "Noooooooo..." ffs <_< I turn to walk thinking, should I shoot, Abort or keep taking screenshots? Goat turns to chicken and runs away. I Abort, change my ingame name, delete my 'new forum-friend', never log into that server again. True Story :lol:

Maybe when you login, your character would 'cough' once.

Could always find a group of competent-players or ones that, at least, have a plan. Most of my times, I'll find an other survivor or two and if s/he isnt a PC_Zombie (aggros at any/every-thing, always at loot-spawns...never looting) we'll join-forces, find a vehicle and go for bigger-gear than we could by ourselves. End up having good-times, most of the time. Sounds like you'd be interested in a free-for-all, no-holds barred, death match. All the vehicles, all the weapons. Have you seen/tried any of the other mods for Arma 2?

I laugh when people say they've spawned in Kamenka and are sad. I love starting in Kamenka. Head north (Water is South ;)) One could hit-up 8 deer stand, easy before going to the Zelen-Mall. Harder to find med-supplies but I generally, survive-longer.

and I remember having that 'bug' too, when the debug monitor on. All the four-icons would go green and not respond though I was able to see exact amount of blood I had. I thought they removed the debug monitor so no-reason to have it enabled. I think I f'd-up and assumed something. ;) Did not notice the gun-icon flashing, first-time watching, Indicating when 'Sir' was in a hostile-state. Posh!

When you say "decides to spawn in with the female skin", you mean you were on a server that had an older version of DayZ? (when one could select sex on character-creation)

Are you updating through DayZ Commander? Perhaps look for a direct-download from their ftp. Doesn't seem hard to find the ip on these forums. Hopefully, that would make a difference. Any particular DayZ mod/map/server that you're trying to join?

It is one beautiful map but I have a different p.o.v. If you want some, what I believe harsh survival, try Namalsk. No shortage of weapons. Food/Drink I find rarely. Less sniper/500m+ kills, unless you're daytrippin'. Actually found helicopters, zodiac's, 5-ton's. Alien weaponry 'ah-woooo' ^_^

I know Play withSix has a filter Server Last Joined. Perhaps DayZ Commander has similar.

Does it say updating server list in upper right? Do you have hide different mod/game version checked off on middle-right, on server screen? and you have the mod you want to play "DayZ" "Lingor""Namalsk" selected? Off chance windows firewall allows traffic of the server sync 'stuff'?

Zombie survivor, bandit and hero's. Sounds awesome! Perhaps 'downed by Zombie' players turn into Zombies with a % of having what gear they had on them. Imagine seeing that one zombie in a group...with a backpack on :lol: Diobolik, if they would stagger to any map waypoint you have/had at time of death or go to last saved tent or vehicle location..Be cool to see one on a journey, wondering what's on a Z's mind? Server's running version 1.3.1. Either try and find a server that's running current-versions or find an older downloader. By the way, is this a minecraft dayz? (1.7.4.4 is the current-version)

Launch Options Look at the one option " -winxp ". ATI 5500 series. Is it an physical card or onboard?

Type in direct so s/he wont know your general-direction. No response, either murdurous or 'non-understanding'. Side chat attracts vultures, griefers. I believe people who have the kos-attitude just want to change DayZ to a simple rdm/rpk.

Would your PCI-E 3.0 card bottleneck with your PCI-E 2.0 motherboard? Sata3 (6gig'r) motherboard + SSD device = oh hell yeah, it's 'fast' Check out the "Performance" options.

My settings Try messing with Launch Options. Tune it for for CPU-type. Force AO to use more amount of ram, vRam. Works well for my 'nearing'-pos system.

People are asking for complete 'specs' easiest enough is to right-click My Computer" on desktop < goto Properties and it will show you your CPU's speed, ram amount&type as well as video card and hard drive. Dont worry about the XP/Vista. All games use it as a minimum-requirements. (I suppose there's still those on 98se >.>), Fraggle&Rooneye like train-gang'n those in distress. I'm not sure about the last few weeks but I had issues with trying to use both Play wihSix and DayZ Commander. Something about one would try to overwrite/'re'download maps under the guise of an "update/download now". So I uninstalled both DZC&6. Installed Pay withSIx (since I found it easier to find mods and it's supported, officially) and haven't had an issue since.

Of course, others are not 'hogging your bandwidth', youtube/flash/streamed eats bandwidth. People jacking your wifi (if your modem and/or router has wifi on&unprotected)? I dont know if PS3, xBox360 or Wii use alottah bandwidth. You have these things (I would think gold-plated since you have a $10000 computer ^^)

Perhaps uninstalling Six, DZC Battle-Eye. Verify OA through Steam. Long shot (as I am no expert) treasure hunt through your registry looking for your AO key and replace with the one from your new account? or delete AO registry keys, DZC, Six, BattleEye. Verfiy game, reinstall apps? I wonder Ip's get adding to key bans. You on static or dynamic isp? Hope you get it sorted.

Looks like your internet took a shit. Raible. how could this "hacker" lag his client? (easy to see when he shoot. the shots are lagged, as well as the sound of it shooting is desync'd to the animation) Perhaps next time you try an armed robbery. Shoot the fucker in the leg, breaking it. Have blood&morphine to bandage your vic...cause how could s/he collect more gear for you (for the next robbery) if they're bleeding-out ith broke-legs?! B)
