Do the .cmd trick near the end of the page. You wont need to login to Steam to play Arma2, OA (CO) or DayZ ^_^

I believe I found a potential-issue

If you've purchased CO and Steam reverted back to A2+OA, use this guide and look for the "STEAM - Beta Patch Install Instructions" + "_runA2CO_beta.cmd"

The triangle doors have menu-options at the "walls". Left or Right side of the door. Never seen one in DayZ, wonder if rMod server or shifty-scripters cut&paste :huh:

Uninstall and delete the folder (where-ever you've installed it to) :thumbsup: I'd use a program, such as cCleaner to wipe old registry entries, logs, data and..stuff. ^_^ -edit. When in doubt..restart your PC

Need to find their forums/contact-info. (if there is any, as it's not required -.-) Ask them to explain why they banned you. Hopefully, there's a way to contact whomever. :rolleyes:

Had similar problems and this is the solver. If, for whatever reason you cant select expansions from within OA, try Arma 2 (I had the PMC-DLC and was able to select expansions through that when OA f'd up)

Did you install it properly? When you run it through Steam, the option to install/reinstall BE pops up under Play Arma 2. Make sure you run both Arma 2, then OA at least once to get BE in there, registries et-up and the wutnaught. Then install DayZ 'add-on' after. (through either DayZ Commander or Play withSix) Heck you know what the server's ip is you can join from within game without needing a 'browser'.)

Biggest tip Ive found for nVidia users is to open the nVidia Control Panel (from desktop), add the AO (or beta. dont matter) and turn-off vsync and Threaded Optimization . Start-Up Parameters -maxMem=2047 -maxVRAM=2047 -cpuCount=4 (try 3 or perhaps 2 if you feel it'll help) -exThreads=5 (or 7. Mostly I leave this options out and let Arma 2 decide) -malloc=<string> I have been messing around with the different ones and (for my system/config setup) it does make a difference. turn off Postprocess effects. I use 3/4~max visibilty with texture, terrian, objects, shadows and HDR turned to high. AA&AASF to either normal or low. Though most are now saying not-to I use 114% 3D resolution with 100% Interface resolution. I use a 240GT, 6gig of DDR3 and a trip-core AM3 (ssd maindrive with OS on it helps<mega)

I bet if you didn't act the pro you are, he would've shot you for not taking precaution. It seems, more&more, 'these days' griefing/trolling/ass-hat actions are becomming everyones mainstay. Instead of creating their own entertainment, they'll glee from denying you, yours. Shameful since the only reason (I could think of) is that this the webz and not 'irl' Your actions rarely come back to 'haunt you' or need reasoning.

lulz Possibility. I parked a vehicle between some trees..breaking glass to get it in there..walk away, cresting a hill into a town-area..Few minutes later "KA-FAK'N-BOOM!" I guess the car moved an inch and nudged a tree..which made the vehicle start pinball'n between two trees until, I'm guessing, it exploded. Perhaps some idiot found your camp and tried to steal the truck...demo'n it in the process (though you state the vehicle didnt really move) I'm thinking your server-crash is the logical-answer. Some-how, some-why, it makes sense :D

ca servers? Perhaps post the IP/Server Name for the server that trying to join. Someone 'should' be able to get you a forum's-link or a link to what-ever community ban list, if they're using one. That's your opinion. Play withSix/Updater has done me no-wrong. I've had this error come-up before, as well as other types. Standard practice..Restart the app. If that fails, restart your PC. Just like any other piece of software, once in a while it flubs. I was under the impression that this program is the one thats official-supported by DayZ? Not every app has "an easy button". :| Ensure you have your OS .NET updated/upgraded/done-up.. Don't be a lemming, make your own opinion.

Is it the game or the DayZ mod stating you have the wrong version? Make sure you've installed DayZ correctly

By chance, is the app trying to 'refresh' the server-list every five-minutes, weather if you're playing or not? I believe there are options to pick the minutes between refreshes, to tell Pw6 not to refresh list while playing or to 'easily' shut itself down after you've joined a server. If a new videocard shows no improvement...Your system is hanging, elsewhere..DDR2 ram..Sata 3gig hdd (5400 or 7200 rpm? ssd?) onboard sound causes issues to. Try downing the sounds to 24 or 16? (looking at your mobo..max 2gig per slot, socket 775, pc1200o.c. 1066 max-std..) Make sure to have your mobo drivers updated as the audio chip and lan have had driver updates,dating fall 2012.

Have used (ran .exe) for Arma 2/AO (CO) at least once to get BattlEye installed and registry updated before trying to pick a server? Have proper AO Beta.exe? BattlEye updated/installed correctly? btw, If you choose to use both Play withSix and DayZ Commander, pick the same mod/install folder (I use the Addons folder in my Bohemia directory) or, perhaps DZC and/or PwSix will redownload mods/addons or overwrite each other.
