yes this was all done through steam, have no idea how to run OA as admin, and why should i have to go through all this ?? i am a ligitamate player who has paid good money for this game and now un-able to play because of some weird bug, tbh the whole steam/dayz commander thing is a nightmare to navigate and very frustrating, no-one seems to give me a straight answer, any ideas on who i can complain to, is it steam or dayz commander, i have no idea, very, very confused and pissed off sudz :(

i too had this problem, i was a bit short of disk space so i did a clean up and remove some old programs i didn't use anymore and then reinstalled the namalsk map, it worked ok, till i got a bad cd-key - cd key disabled message, which is another issue entirely. but try freeing up some disk space then reinstall namalsk, should work

i bought arma 2 OA legitamately from a website and have been playing dayz for about 5-6 months now, i uploaded the most recent dayz commander updates and now every time i try to join a server i get a message saying "bad cd key - cd key disabled" ?? i have never downloaded any hacks or other mods from youtube as you suggest in this thread, i am pretty sure there wasn't a time limit on the key i bought, i was under the impression that i had bought the whole package of arma 2 combined ops and that it was mine as long as i agreed to EULA ?? is it possible i have missed something here ? i have already contacted steam customer support and so far no answer... sudz :(

Hi to all at DayZ community, since the most recent battleye update my PC keeps on freezing up, can't task manager out, alt tab out or alt f4 out, just get a total lock up and i have to do a manual shutdown, which is NOT good for PC's or my patience, indeed doing things in vehicles especially flying in a chopper is highly risky and could cause me and my buddies to die in a horrible fire :( I am not the only 1 this has happened to, all my friends have had the same problem since the BE update, we play on a vilayer server, could this be the problem ?? Has this happened to anyone else ?, in which case i strongly advise the DayZ devs to look at this as i'm sure they won't buy me and my buds' a new PC each. Slightly pissed, Sudz. @ maddyn99 - thx for info bud, does this mean server admin abuse then, because the exact message i get is - (Battleye : Admin ban (DayZ anti-hax (DayZ community banlist))) ?? Is there any other course of action i should take, for example sending e-mail to server admin apologising for my misdemeanor, i would gladly do this and even help them to build/fix another chopper :) :beans:

tried that, don't work ?, why is it so difficult to find out why i been banned ?? very frustrating when i suspect the admin of server abuse, no way to prove my case, maybe admin should post logs of my ' wrong doing '. Well thx anyway, just aswell i have other servers to play on, by the way, i am not banned on any other server i play on, like i say, i am NOT a hacker, w/e. Thx guys, Sudz.

where do i enter the GUID, i have done a manual search for "Sudz" and cannot find it, however i dont see a place to enter my GUID on the CBL ?? please can you advise me on this.

Hi to all at Dayz, i've been playing Dayz for about 2 months now and i have to say i'm totally hooked, and i am now at the stage where i have several well maintained, lag free servers on my favorite list that i use as a base for my tents and 'good gear'. So a few days ago i found a Huey helicopter (the first i've ever seen in-game), so i fuelled her up from the tents near by and proceeded to take off, there was ruffly a third of a tank of fuel, which i thought was plenty to get me to the nearest gas station, however i got about 80-100 ft off the ground and the heli mysteriously started to loose power and i started to loose altitude, and realised i had to eject before i crashed, the heli came down on top of the tents and destroyed them also (this was unintentional and purely bad luck). In shock and confused as to why the heli lost power i got on my bike and continued on my exploration route. I am an Arma 2 vet and have flown many types of helicopters and i just could not figure out why the heli lost power like that, anyway i decided to put it down to experience and move on, it was getting late at night and i decided to log-off. The next day i tried to log back into the server and i recieved a message saying - you were kicked off the game (Battleye : Admin ban (DayZ anti-hax (DayZ community banlist))), i tried again thinking it was a mistake and got the same message. The server in question is US 3106, and as i said before i have a good stack of gear and stuff on that server. After speaking with a friend of mine who has his own server, we concluded that i found the 'clan' or admins Huey and he must have banned me for this incident, which i thought was totally unfair. I am not a hacker, in fact i hate hackers as i have only died to hackers so far, i don't think i have been killed by a legitamate player yet, i have never even picked up a hacked weapon or item, i destroy the tents i have seen hacked items in. Can you give me any advice on this matter ? should i try and send an e-mail to the admins on US 3106 or can you guys deal with this matter ??
