You mod for arma, and dayz is paid. So shut the work up and the the devs fuck. I don't know why they don't just have a closed sticky for info like this so i don't have to sit hear refreshing to read sob stories and so on.

Yeah turning these settings off only help the less scrupulous players. If it is indeed a server setting than it should be mandatory that it is turned on IMO.

I see your point Scutticus but in the few seconds it takes to blow up (grenade) and run away from said explosion wouldn't really compromise my position and Its not about wasting somebody else's time its about capping someone that may have an advantage over me. A lot of this would be solved if people put a little more thought into camp placement. Another solution to this would be double the map size, when I first started the game I was like omg wtf this map is HUGE now I'm like damn this isn't enough space for 50 people. Also, I totally agree hiding vehicles off the map is pretty lame and its something my group never does we are on the map for anyone to find if they look hard enough.

This wont solve any problems instead of stealing the vehicles you guys hide so poorly they will just blow them up. Then u will be on here asking to make vehicles invisible unless your in them, or bulletproof or they are only on when your on or blah blah blah.

I wasn't just trying to troll the op i really think we found his stuff. Also, i am about 350hours into the game and we have had cars since the first week never had any disappear and never had any found. Once we played on a server that had choppers enabled they used the on board radar and tracked us all over we eventually just gave up and moved servers. If you are on a server with choppers and u keep losing your cars this is the problem. UK191 Werd wasn't me bro better luck next time!

Just like JeffersonAirplane said and no that car is only available to you on that server and cannot be transferred or moved to another

the fuel tank is small just like IRL. But what does it matter when you can hit a minor bump and the damn thing flips on its slide only to be righted by a server restart. The quad is useless its just luggage with four wheels.

A group of about 6-8 of have a few camps/ vehicle stash spots on a popular server and have never been raided. Our Spots are all on the map but i find other peoples a lot some people don't use much logic when picking their camp spots

Adding to what i said earlier. None of my groups stuff is "off the map" there isn't any real advantage to having it "off the map" because there is almost no vegetation / trees to hide it the only advantage is its super far away but should be fairly easy to see from a great distance

I think clans should be able to hid their stuff anywhere they want. Its not like you are unable to go to these places yourself you just cant find them. It takes a lot of time and group energy to find and repair vehicles so if when you do find one you make damn sure to hide it in a good spot or some lazy lone survivor will find it. Personally i would like to see a few more "fort" complexes or areas that can be improved and used as bases for clans.

haha I was so happy to see this thread I am super color blind. Orange/Red/Green/Brown Blue/Purple. No need to feel bad Rocket Im pretty sure i see better than u in the dark. The game is not unplayable and i have not died as a result of this but i do have a difficult time with the vehicle repair status icon, the marker/distance meter and the blood/drink/eat meter. I would be very pleased to help in anyway to make things better for my colorblind brothers. I'll add my info if the devs wish to contact me. Thanks for all your hard work dev team!!!

Sure does hawk I got one last night. Only thing it doesnt cover is your hands and main weapon of course. Im playing with friends and by their account I'm almost invisible as long as I'm in medium high grass and not moving.
