Download Dayz Commander and update all of your DayZ and ARMA stuff in the commander. Then you can even look at all the Dayz servers through Dayz Commander. This should fix your issue. :)

Try playing on other server. Sometimes the server is just hosted far away from you and it takes to long for you to connect. -
Have you tried re-installing your ARMA2 and ARMA2:OA. along with all the dayz files. Also is your Arma2 still working without dayz?

I am not sure if someone has already said this but another thing that could be added to this suggestion is that the more flies that are around the body the longer they have been dead for. Within reason because too many flies would result in the server lagging alot. -
Kamenka is not a bad spawn if you know what you are looking for. Most people just like to go to Cherno or Elektro, but sometimes that is not the best on higher population servers.

Yea sometimes the tents are very weird and don't want to be pitched, but its good to hear to got it to work. :)

You pitch it the same way you do on Chernarus, just find a good place to put it then spam the pitch tent button. :)
