My friend and I spent a couple of days checking out vehicle spawns in the end we checked about 75% of all spawns and we still couldn't find any vehicles so we stopped looking and then a white pickup truck spawned right next to us. I've probably played a couple hundred hours of DayZ and my friends and I have found only a handful of useable vehicles. List of vehicles found Fishing boat (next to a lake out side Elektro) sort of useable Offroad (given to us by a friendly chap in Cherno) useable Bus (belonged to hackers in Cherno) not useable PBX (next to the Balota Airfield) not useable Offroad (spawned next to us in Zelenogorsk) useable Bus (noob bait in to Stary Sobor) not useable Old Hatchback (hackers used it to loot our camp) not useable Bus (hackers spawned it on top of people) not useable Ural (nicked in Cherno lost in less than an hour because of hackers) useable for a bit Offroad (found abandoned in Cherno) useable ATV (found abandoned on the side of a road) useable Ural (Hacked spawned it on top of us) not useable Bus, Fishing Boat and Old Hatchback (noob bait out side of Balota) not useable ATV (that someone was driving) not useable

I dunno, it seems like a good way to progress but what if nearly all of the land is controlled by different clans and a new spawn can't go anywhere because he will be splattered if he goes into any city because there @$$holes that fortify the thing with sentry guns or mines. Also what if the ruling clan is really noobie and aborts whenever they sense trouble; this makes it difficult for some other clan to gain control. However I think that the land control system would be a fun addition to the game. What about not being able to place down barricades until you occupy the area. Maybe occupying an area just means that you can get that areas loot more easily rather than being granted with a special 'ability'.

DayZ Commander pisses on Play with Six and Au 1 is a good server, lots of people on it or Anz 7 is okay

Just 'humanity farm' with blood bags, bandages etc. Get a friend to help you, they go out, get hit by zombie, come back in, you blood bag them, they go out again etc

My friend found a Makarov SD in the Stary Sobor military camp.

I went to Green Mountain earlier today and was shot by a sniper noob with a DMR and ghillie suit. Later my friend tried to shoot him but his gun was holstered and he couldn't shoot him back so he quickly aborted. He then rejoined and couldn't find who shot me. I managed to get back to my body but they stole my M9SD and my M4A1 CCO SD. We figured that they must of looted my body and then server hopped. We had spares of everything but the M9SD and the M4A1 CCO SD back in a tent near Green Mountain. As a result my friend and I have made a vow go never go to Green Mountain again......Ever.........

No, Just make the spawn rarer, stop zombies from being able to go through them and make the removal less buggy (look anywhere at the wire, scroll mouse wheel, click, removed). Problem solved.

Nearly every time I help someone they betray me. This happened to me once and my friend who was hiding managed to kill them back. So I advise having a friend as overwatch in the shadows so if you get killed they can extract revenge. I was playing with my friend in Cherno the other day. We were in the military tents and we saw a survivor. As we had lots of high value loot on us we were definitly not prepared to be killed and my friend pulled out his mk48 and yelled over the mic "We're friendly but stay the f#@$ where you are or we will light you up like a f****** Christmas tree." They freaked and stood still as we promptly left the camp. My friend spotted them as I was inspecting a loot drop and they could of snuck up and killed me if I had been on my own. Moral of the story: Travel with someone (the more the better)(generally)

Fuck Bandits. As for the lone wolf in a real zombie apocalypse you would team up. For starters the solitdarity would drive you mad and you would be significantly less likely to survive just by yourself.
