So today I was killed by a ghillefag in cherno. I left the server shortly after to find a more populated server. I found a better one and I went to Elektro. Upon searching the church someone was standing in the doorway with an axe staring at me. I asked if he was friendly and he gave no reply. So I Q and E'd like 3 times and I guess he took it as something friendly. I left the church while he searched it and I was at the supermarket when I heard gunfire. So I snuck towards the sound of gunfire and saw a bandit crawling with a golden AKS shooting at my axe friend. So I killed the bandit and took his golden AKS. Sadly, Axe friend was already dead. Question, Does it make me a bandit to kill the bandit because he killed a survivor?

Only reason I joined the forum was to make this thread so I could see the answers. :P You know you play to much DayZ when... -you can find north with a watch IRL. -While walking down the street you think of buildings that might have good loot.

I've come to accept the PVP as part of the game. However, I've never understood the people who just kill people who spawned in.

The game is what you make of it. If you want less PVP- go to empty servers.

Sometimes I choose to get rid of my high end gear. Why? Because it ruins the feel. To me, Real zombie survival would be a hatchet, maybe a pistol and a backpack. The odds of coming across a .50 cal is little to none.

I'm down to help. I understand I'm new to the forums so I may not seem very trustworthy, but theres nothing I can do about that since I have to build a reputation somehow.

I get annoyed by bandits and such but thats part of the game. In a situation like this people would do things to survive. Look at hurricane katrina. There were around 400 deaths from people killing each other while scavenging for food. In a survival situation its you or someone else.

I have yet to have a RAOC happen to me but... I recently started playing DayZ again and it was my first time playing in about 3-5 weeks. I spawned at that gas station between Cherno and balorta(or w/e its called). So, I decided to hit up Balorta airfield. I sneaked my way into the control tower and all I had was a hatchet and I confronted some player and he said friendly and I said it back. There was an AK74 on the ground and he said I could have since he had an 1866. He left the tower and I heard gunfire, Upon looknig out the tiwer windows I see him being like, eaten alive by zombies. So I open fire with my newly acquired AK74 and mow down easily 5-20 zombies. He was bleeding like hell and came to the top of the tower and he was out of bandages. I gave him my only bandage and painkillers then told him to leave and I'd hold of the zombies. He got away and sadly, I ran out of ammo and was eaten alive by zombies. Worth it.
