Also me and four other friends. It is probably unrelated, but we were all playing fine on US 29 until a hacker teleported every player on the server onto Otmel. Naturally, we DC'd and switched to a new server and both of the new servers we tried kicked us for 'Client not responding', following a spam of the chat window saying 'Exception detected' (or something similar). It is probably unrelated, but it's worth adding just in case.

Bear Traps are not going to be used for anything except griefing - same with wire fences and hedgehog tank traps - for as long as characters are persistent across all servers and setting up a base (dis-concerning the placement of random tents, as wire and shit makes it only more obvious) is completely pointless. All three tools are used only to grief and need to be disabled until character IDs are made local to specific servers.

First of all, hello everyone, hopefully I'll get the chance to play/test out this mod soon enough. First things first, though - I need to get ARMA 2, Operation Arrowhead and Combined Operations running correctly without any mods, and I'm unable to do that right now. My issue is this: I am running the Steam version of the game; I purchased the Combined Operations pack from Steam which contains ARMA 2 and Operation Arrowhead, with the ability to combine them into Combined Operations. I installed both ARMA 2 and OA and, following the instructions of Magnet, started by running ARMA 2. This worked fine; I got to the main menu and called it 'done', exiting the program. I then attempted to launch ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead, and this is where things went pear-shaped. During the startup, I received two errors, in this order: 1: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgInGameUI/MPTable.shadow' (Hit 'okay', and the startup continues... finally running into this...) 2: Error compiling pixel shader PSSpecularAlpha:0 I'm wondering if any members have run into this issue during their installation-and-startup process and if there is any fix for it? I am currently re-downloading Operation Arrowhead from Steam now and it should not take more than an hour from now to finish, so please don't hesitate to respond. Thanks!

I've been lead to believe that helicopters have been universally disabled from spawning. If this is true, why was this decision made, and is there an expectation as to when we might see helicopters making a return to DayZ? This is an inquiry - not a subtle complaint thread. Cheers

I am having the exact same problem as the OP, including the part about nothing happening when I attempt to reinstall BattlEye via Steam. Could we please get some help? Added note: I am able to join some servers, but not others - the one I'm trying to join in particular is US 26 and I am met with this problem every time, whereas joining other servers is no trouble for me.
