Also me and four other friends. It is probably unrelated, but we were all playing fine on US 29 until a hacker teleported every player on the server onto Otmel. Naturally, we DC'd and switched to a new server and both of the new servers we tried kicked us for 'Client not responding', following a spam of the chat window saying 'Exception detected' (or something similar). It is probably unrelated, but it's worth adding just in case.

Bear Traps are not going to be used for anything except griefing - same with wire fences and hedgehog tank traps - for as long as characters are persistent across all servers and setting up a base (dis-concerning the placement of random tents, as wire and shit makes it only more obvious) is completely pointless. All three tools are used only to grief and need to be disabled until character IDs are made local to specific servers.

I've been lead to believe that helicopters have been universally disabled from spawning. If this is true, why was this decision made, and is there an expectation as to when we might see helicopters making a return to DayZ? This is an inquiry - not a subtle complaint thread. Cheers
