Hey im not really new to DayZ i already played it 2 or 3 month ago and was rather successful(plenty of supplys and a nice weapon) Well yesterday i started playing again and i discovered pretty fast that zombies now engage way faster / from a further distance. I just got to know thats because of a change to their vision on daylight. So my question is now how to get some supplys when you got nothing (yes i died). Is it better to start at daytime and get some flares and then switch to night? Or just start at night? I normaly play with a friend. So maybe you guys can give me some advice to be a better survivor :)

Hey first of all if this topic was already been chewed on then im sorry but i havent found anything. Well hte last time i played DayZ was 2 or 3 month ago and yesterday i started playing again. Ofc I did ready the changes they made but one thing is a bit annoying, the distance on which Zombies engage you. The last time i played i was able to sneak myself through hordes of zombies without them noticing me. Now they engage me from a very far distance sometimes i dont even move im just laying in the grass watching them and suddenly one zombie starts running towards me :/ Is there something i miss? Is it a bug? It would be very helpfull to me if someone could give me an advice how to be "zombie free" again :)
