Well, After closer inspection I have come to the conclusion that "Bigfoot" is not Bigfoot, It was simply Steak Participating in the "No shave November" and trying to get an early copy of SA from Dean. Steak, you naughty man.

Impressive, Longest life I had was about 150 some odd days. But this was with me logging in and out all week and playing on a 20/30 person server.,

This is a pretty neat idea, I once played on a RP type server once where they had hiding bodies disabled.. I had shot someone that was trash talking us 'Muricans and he had a bunch of his buddies around so I didnt really want them to find his body and figure out he was dead.. Dragged him into a dark corner and hauled ass, So yes I would love to see something like this.

Zombies being able to disarm you, No, I would not enjoy that. But players able to disarm each other OR being able to KO one another. I really want to see incentive for people to take captives. I know there will be zip tie/handcuffs, IF any of you cross my path prepare to become my BITCH.

Hmm, what do you guys think? I've been playing dayz on and off for around a year now and want to try an interesting experiment. I want to start a survivor group and do the usual things survivors do ie gather weapons, vehicles, survive, start campsite, etc and play the game as a group normally would. However, as a twist I'd like to introduce permadeath into our group. Basically, we all get decently equipped as we spawn. Once we leave the coast the game is on. If someone in the group dies from legit means (not hacker or glitch) the person is dead. Like they're off the group, they're must leave the server. It might sound harsh but I'm intending it as a social experiment. The sense of loss and desire for members to survive will theoretically be greatly increased this way. only ingame voice. Have a meeting place somewhere, the ones who make it at a specific time are awesome and will start the story there. Or you know be losers and use skype or something.. I will give it a day or two for everyone wanting to join up to massage me, I will then make a skype group/chat from everyone wanting to play. from there we can discuss details! Would also be fun to write down, record everyone's last words!

try opening up your sound mixer while you're in game, turn arma 2 up. Also open up the sound thing and make sure you have your headset selected.

hmm its also a bummer that you dont understand why dean created this mod, please note, this isnt the game, its a mod OF the game. I dont think Dean intended on everyone just Death matching each other, If im not mistaken he created this mod to be kinda like the survival thing he did in the army. not for people to find a gun and kill everything they see that moves that isnt a zombie.

If you think about it 343 is very common and just for small chat, it has 15 channels and if you want to talk to someone find a channel and tell him that channel. The 148 has like.. 100 channels? So clans could pick a random channel and chat, That would prove pretty neat because sneaky little bandits can sneak on the channel and know whats going on. I just dont think there should be channels that normal people cant hop on you know? If this was the case I would have my entire group play this server.

I am in a ACE/ACRE community, I have discussed this with a few of our members. Would the radio's spawn in everywhere? or 343, 148 and 117F spawn in military locations? Also it would be pointless to add this if not everyone was going to get in TS and use it. One more thing, maybe the radios are broken when you find them? If you could make it so you have to find some batteries/something to fix it up with I think this could be a cool Idea. Although the 117F's should not be in the game. only the 343 which have a range of like 500 meters and the 148's which have a LARGE transmission range. Edit- If you were to add in the 117F's then players can talk to each other pretty much like they were on Global because the 117F reaches 20k out im pretty sure.
