Personally I'd be happy without any skins such as bandit and hero. Who knows, maybe I had to kill 10 people because it was either them or me, that doesn't make me a bandit... :P ... as an example. Besides you don't see convicted criminals dressing differently so you know they're criminals... Where's the fun in knowing who's good and bad? Is it to appease the "OMG, I got killed even though I just spawned in" people?

Instead of wasting your time talking to people while they stare at you, you should have just shot them all. Or died trying anyway...

There are a few towns with a store, a church and some industrial buildings. When you spawn in it gives you an idea where you are (in the lower right corner). Other than that there are signs everywhere but they're in Russian. So in reality your best bet is an online map (dayzdb for example) and then learning your surroundings with the help of it. After about a week or two of running around you'll have more of an idea where you are...

Is it a battleye or admin ban? Nevermind, missed the part about how you tried joining other servers.

It's not just bridges, driving on the docks will flip you as well. I also like driving the bicycle and switching from grass to sand or road to grass and ruining the hull and wheels of the thing as though I just drove into a rock.

Changing my video settings is cheating now? Really? I guess I shouldn't turn up my resolution either... :rolleyes: Also the brightness and gamma trick doesn't work on all servers. Some just stay dark. I've also been on ones that will start off nice with everything visible and then somehow get darker over time.

It's not very realistic. It's just as retarded as reading about police shooting a suspect on the run and all those people up in arms "Oh, why didn't they just shoot him in the leg?" They don't because it's not a safe shot, center mass is where it's at if you wanna take someone or something down. Try shooting center mass on a moving target, at a distance, then try shooting a comparatively small arm or leg, heck you even want to shoot the hand itself. It's possible but not realistic.

If you have your debug monitor (the one that shows your name, zombies, humanity etc.) turned on, your status indicators don't work.

Can't you join another server and respawn at the coast there?

Adding another step? Finding a weapon and gear outside those main loot areas is adding another step? Really? I don't even bother with those areas until I'm fully geared up. I can easily do that at deer stands, remote barns and heli crashes. That is why I prefer to be spawned outside the popular spots. Gee, people, get creative in your survival. So if you despise running so much, why play DayZ? I mean you even admit 90% of the game is running around. So does that mean to you, running around fully geared up is somehow different to running around freshly spawned? Also are you saying that you are only alert when you have a weapon? Sure sounds like it. I think your problem isn't where you spawn, it's that you seem to think the only "average" (does that mean good?) stuff is in the popular areas. And your last sentence makes absolutely no sense. Do you not evade bandits by running? Do you just stop and look around and try to shoot them first? I'm really trying to make sense of it but with so much flawless logic it will be quite difficult.

The same could be said about Kamenka, Komarovo, Kamyshovo etc. Oh noes, you lost everything, boo fu**ing hoo. One major fun thing in this game is going around collecting stuff, it's even more fun when you don't have anything good yet. Who knows what you will find this time... After 1 comes 2 btw. Loot and generally not giving a hoot about the destiny of the average player who happens to be on the same server I'm playing on. Besides once you have all the equipment you want and need, a vehicle or two, what else is there to do? And no, helping is not my cup of tea. The boundaries are defined by the victims of banditry. Not sure where the hacked weapon assumption comes from but since it's your goal to make an ass out of yourself, you have just gotten closer to that goal. Maybe go back to that server later, when they've had time to look at the logs and try again... or they've noticed my thread and are behaving for a month or two... or maybe you never went. A public server entirely populated with clan members and maybe one or two randoms the majority of the time is slightly fishy. You may disagree, it certainly would not surprise me. *sigh* There are rules for the servers, there are rules regarding what admins can ban people for and what not. Combat disconnecting while annoying is still not a bannable offense. Hard to grasp isn't it? Go read server hosting rules. Exploiting is not bannable. Hacking is, carrying hacked items is not. You can't even get banned for carrying hacked items, just kicked. Get over it, you and those admins. And feel free to enlighten me with your version of "How the game was intended to be played", I'm sure it will be a bestseller. Then they are breaking hosting rules and need to be blacklisted and removed. You can't just pick and choose rules you want to follow. My god, it's more entertaining talking to a wall. It doesn't cost me as many braincells either.

First of all, if you consider ignorant an insult, I suggest you get off the internet now before it's too late and your feelings get hurt even more. Heck, I suggest you go move to a lonely deserted island just to make sure you don't get offended. Second, have you bothered reading the entire thread including other threads I've quoted regarding the same issue? I even said I would have been fine with a ban for CDing (reading fail again) but that's not what it is about. It's about every single player who gets close to their camp getting banned. Regardless of whether an admin is on the server or not. Also they don't just approve any thread in that section. You have to have quite the proof for them to publish your thread. I also like how you refuse to acknowledge that there are plenty of admins who enjoy a power trip. Why don't you go to that server, go find their camp, see what nice people they are. Don't be confused though when you join and all you see is people with LLTS tags, that's just a coincidence, clearly, since those admins couldn't do any wrong. PS: While alt+f4 might be a cheap way of playing, last time I checked it wasn't a ban worthy offence. So, boohoo.

Wow, you're dumb. You're quoting a thread of mine about a server with severe admin abuse but you claim he is the alleged cheater. Wow. You fail at reading. I guess all the other people from that thread are alleged cheaters too.

It's also pointless to keep complaining about different people with different play styles I don't know what the obsession nowadays is with making everything the same according to someone's standard. "I don't want sniper rifles, so no one else should have them", "I don't shoot people for fun, so no one else should". I kill people for fun. I like to be far away when I do so. Why? Cos I can, cos that's how I want to play. Other times I go on collection runs and avoid everything I can. Why? Cos I can and that's how I want to play at that time. I've only died maybe 3 times by someone that I had no idea where or who he was. That's out of a good 60 deaths. Avoid getting attached to your character and accept that you're already dead the moment you spawn on any server. Death is inevitable. I dunno why it matters so much how you die.

You do know the AS50 TWS is a hacked weapon, right? So you're trying to make a point about snipers by showing us hacker videos? PS: You don't need a hacked weapon, you can just as easily kill someone from that hill with an M14 or DMR, heck the M4's and M16's are fairly accurate as well.

Yeah those high end sniper rifles are really dangerous. It only took someone 3 AS50 mags yesterday to kill a friend who wasn't even trying to get out of the way. So unless you know how to shoot the things, it's about as dangerous as a Makarov PM. For every sniper who does have a clue, there's ten who don't. At least. Not sure why people keep on whining. probably just for the sake of whining.
