Thanks for your reply, but I'm afraid that doesn't work either.

Dito for a road flare.
-
I threw a chemlight and picked it up, did see it in the logs. Ill try later when I find a flare.
-
I haven't banned anyone for this yet, but it seems like a plausible explanation. There's not a lot of the logs, they are few and far inbetween. I'll try and see if I can replicate it by doing something like that myself. Thanks! I'll report back.
-
I wouldn't be too sure about the AddMagazineCargo logs, unless there were a TON of them. I banned one of them who was spamming explosives and smoke grenades (kinda look like your logs as well), so don't be afraid to ban them and reference them to the ban appeals forum if they disagree. I always do, and never seen someone complaining yet. I've added 2 more bans to my ban list, thanks!
-
I banned someone yesterday from my server for this one (and others). So yes, it seems very fishy (the only entry in about 2 weeks of logs), so I assumed it a cheat and directly banned said player.

BattleNET - C# library and client for the BattlEye protocol
Wotuu replied to ziellos2k's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Well, no :P. But if you specify exactly what kind of commands you want, exact input and exact output you want, I may work my magic when I'm bored. Shouldn't take very long to create something like that for me anyways. (But depends on the # of commands and complexity, ofcourse) -

Yeah I know Regex's are probably a better solution, but I couldn't be arsed :]. -

Hi, This is how I solved that (it's rather ugly and I hate regex's, so here goes:) In your "HandleMessage" event function: String timeMessage = DateTime.Now.ToString("hh:mm:ss") + " - " + args.Message.Trim(); int tryParse = 0; // If this is the message for players if (Int32.TryParse(split[2], out tryParse)) { bMessage = new SurvivorMessage(timeMessage); } The BattleyeMessage and SurvivorMessage classes looks like this: public class BattleyeMessage { public String rawMessage { get; set; } public String time { get; set; } public BattleyeMessage(String raw) { String[] split = raw.Split(' '); this.time = split[0]; this.rawMessage = raw; } } public class SurvivorMessage : BattleyeMessage { public int number { get; set; } public String ip { get; set; } public String port { get; set; } public int ping { get; set; } public String guid { get; set; } public String username { get; set; } public SurvivorMessage(String raw) : base(raw) { String[] split = raw.Split(new char[1]{' '}, StringSplitOptions.RemoveEmptyEntries); this.number = Int32.Parse(split[2]); this.ip = split[3].Split(':')[0]; this.port = split[3].Split(':')[1]; this.ping = Int32.Parse(split[4]); this.guid = split[5]; // Some usernames contain spaces .. bastards for (int i = 6; i < split.Length; i++) { this.username += split[i] + " "; } // Remove trailing space this.username = this.username.Trim(); } } This should probably give you an idea of how you should solve this problem. -

I found what was causing the massive delay, it had to do with me logging every setVariable and setVariableVar function. It probably caused a massive overflow of data (and long log files), which in turn caused the delay. Switching those two spammers off solved the issue, chat messages are received near instant now! -
If your story had been true, then I definitely would have deserved to be called names, and have this thread made to report abuse. But your story is false and have the proof to back that up. Edit; Also please don't go claiming you're not the player in the chat log, because you're using both this forum name and that in-game name on the screenshot page you linked in your first post. For reference and before you delete it, http://steamcommunity.com/id/Harley4ever/screenshots/?33930 .

Hello, butt-hurt faggot admin here. You're telling half of the story. Hell, you're lying even. You were at FOB Brown when I flew over. You asked me for help, as you said that you needed blood and antibiotics. I trusted you, so I picked you up. You even said you'd put away your AKM. First thing I did, was fly you to that hospital. I blood bagged you, searched for antibiotics (which I didn't find). Few moments later, you said there's someone in the ATC tower with an AKM. You can't see that from that distance if someone has an AKM or AK74 etc. (New Skooma hospital), so I knew it was something fishy. Either way I looked at the tower for a bit, then saw you get out your AKM and fire away at me (I was too late). I kicked you because that's just the lowest thing to do ever. I subsequently banned you for an hour afterwards. I knew it must have been you because there were no zombies around when we landed, and you were in my chopper. Don't go claiming that you don't know how I knew it was you. As pointed out, there were few players on the server and you were the only one with me there, 99% sure. Besides, when I got back to my corpse you already put your AKM on mine, and I kicked you in <10 seconds. Someone who was in the ATC tower could have never run that distance in such a short time. While I agree that anything and everything is allowed in DayZ, in that moment I just couldn't think of anything other than to kick you for being such a massive pain in the dick. If that's too much of a punishment, I am willing to apolagise. I'll let it slide that you publicly disgrace my server and myself on the forum, since I may have overreacted. Your ban has been lifted since that hour. I hope you enjoy my M4A3. You're more than welcome to come back to the server. May it give you peace of mind that I crashed the chopper later that night with myself in it, making me start from a clean slate again. I don't mind dying, heck, I couldn't care less about it. However, doing it like this just brings out the worst of me. If you want to kill me, that's fine, but don't go saying you're friendly and after you've received some help, shoot me in the back. Here's some proof of the chat to further strengthen my story. http://www.wofje.8s.nl/random/johnnyboy.png Enjoy your stay on the server, and if not, good luck!

BattleNET - C# library and client for the BattlEye protocol
Wotuu replied to ziellos2k's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Thanks for the reply, Yesterday evening chat messages sometimes had a delay of 50 minutes before being received by Gotcha (and my program using your library). I'm not talking about login messages, but actual *chat* messages. When the server gets to about ~10 players, it seems to drop all kinds of packages, not just chat messages. But the funny thing is that the chat does seem to get through, sometimes with a very long delay. -
need help with my server getting error message : Duplicate entry '195427' for key 'PRIMARY'
Wotuu replied to Jonteee_l's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
This is an error message indicating that the update is installing (trust me). You just have to wait, it's doing something, but you just can't see it. It's frustrating I know. The big update took me 90 minutes +/- to install. If you get insta-redirected to the home page when installing mods, you need to do that via the master ACP account. -
BattleNET - C# library and client for the BattlEye protocol
Wotuu replied to ziellos2k's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Hi, I've been using your project for some time now in my little programming projects, thanks a lot for the effort put into it! I doubt it's an issue on your end, but when the server is busy, it doesn't seem to catch all logs. How do I know this, chat doesn't seem to get through at all. Gotcha Antihack is having the same issue, but I'm not sure if they use your library for their data. I'm starting to think it's a Battleye issue, but perhaps you've experienced this before. I'm in the process of making a command line interface for use inside the server (request server info, request time till restart, maybe vote kick, etc.), but it's pretty worthless if the chat commands don't get through. Thanks once again for your effort! -
But Vilayer removed access to the blisshive.log file for all servers for undisclosed reasons, so my hobby programming project is kind of worthless now to me. However, it may be of use to some other admins, so I'm asking if anyone would be interested in the program. The catch is however, it could be used for cheating/unfair advantages. Hence why I'm asking if I should post a link to such program here, before it gets me banned and whatnot. Features: Opening local blisshive.log or over FTP Auto-downloading of the log every x minutes/hours (once I get get around to programming it) Survivors Track online/offline survivors Get logs associated with survivor (raw / formatted (table)) View Inventory for survivor (and previous inventories) Activity log (At <time> survivor picked up/droppped <item>) Location tracker and log (still in development, but it's getting there) Objects Object tracking Get logs associated with object (raw / formatted (table)) View Inventory for object (and previous inventories) Activity log (At <time> object picked up/droppped <item>) Object type guessing (this object is a Ural or UAZ, etc) Some other features that have been programmed for a bit but aren't finished are; White/blacklisting of items Warning panel (Warning! Player xx is carrying an AS50 TWS. (That's the idea)) Now, I mainly created it to make it easier for me tracking hackers, but as time progressed I added more features, just to see if I could (and I had to do something while my game-laptop was out for repairs for 3 weeks). I'd like to continue working on the program, but if no-one is interested I'm afraid I'll have to shut it down since I can't use it myself anymore. Awaiting your opinions!

Still can't get GitHub to work, but here's the link for the project anyways: https://github.com/Wotuu/DayzServerLogParser For those who don't care about sources, here's an uploaded .rar file with the .exe. Feel free to scan it first, I'd recommend it for your own safety anyways. Note that the button with "Open browser" in the Location area doesn't do anything yet, other than upload data to my server. Be sure to fill in the FTP data first, if you're going to download it over FTP. The timer doesn't work (yet..) as well. http://clearbits.nl/r/dayz/DayzLogParser.rar
-
I'll post a link to it later, once I figure out how the hell I can get GitHub to work on this laptop. It's always issues with that stupid program, grr.
-
Ah I see, that's pretty nice, but the requirements for setting it up is pretty steep, I don't think a lot of people can get that running easily. But as seeing that such a program already exists, I don't think it can hurt to put some links so people can check out what I wrote for themselves. I've already got a map, but I basically ripped it off dayzdb.com since I couldn't be arsed writing one myself, and liked that one a lot :P. I've disabled the location part for now, it isn't working yet unless you have access to my server, so you won't notice it yet anyways.
-
That's exactly the reason I started working on the program in the first place, so I can relate to that. Glad to hear I can contribute to combating hackers for at least someone! I'll await some more replies before I start posting links here, cheers!

HOWTO: Use publicvariableval.txt to auto-kick players with hacked weapons
Wotuu replied to venthos's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
If you're wondering why M249, m107, and Mk_48 are on the list, it's because the actual items that are in the game are called M249_DZ, M107_DZ, and Mk_48_DZ. In response to this, here's the (should be valid?) script you can place in your publicvariableval.txt file. I haven't tested this, I'm trusting on ExcelsiorDDZ on this one! (And my programming skills.) -
Greetings, To cut to the chase; * Server this happened on. 94.242.227.182:2362 ; WofjeM | Vilayer.com * Time that it happened including your timezone. From 19:00~ till 19:20, timezone is GMT +2, server logs show it in GMT -7 or something. 15:00 in log time was 0:00 where I live. * What happened during the incident At 19:00 our time, a player called DISON logged in the server. Soon after, we heared reports of people getting killed with an M107 with infinite ammo (we did not know it was DISON at that point). This went on for a bit, as people started getting picked off one by one. At around 19:20 a player called DISON crashed a (stolen) helicopter on our vehicles (logs show proof that he was pilotting the heli when it crashed), while we were standing still trying to figure out who was hacking. Noone in their right minds would crash a chopper like that, but anyways. He couldn't have known where we were, and he probably wanted to get back at us for preparing to ban him. Edit: While I didn't screenshot it, when we looked at the corpse of the player in the chopper that crashed on us, it had hacked items like Makarov SD, radio, etcetera. Since DISON had these kind of items (see logs below), it must've been him. * Proof While we don't have any screenshots, I've pulled all the relevant info from the logs.
