So I understand the game is in early access and I am cool with that, I am all for bug hunting and so on. Dealing with bugged out zombies and UI issues and so on is acceptable. Switching servers and having your character reset on the other hand is not acceptable at all in any stage. My usual friends weren't on and the server I usually play was a bit dead so I figured I would check out a higher pop server. I log in to find myself at the shore as a fresh spawn. Knowing this some times happens from server to server I went back to my usual. Same deal, everything gone and just sitting on the beach. I didn't die, didn't respawn or do anything out of the ordinary and I get this. Not acceptable Rocket, not one bit.

Aside from renting a server and setting to a white list is their any way to play DayZ alone? I like the challenge of Zombie survival vs being shot in the back by someone that I just helped or for no reason at all. Along with the hackers and power hungry admin DayZ is less and less fun to play but I still like the game but would like to play solo for a while. Is it possible or even legal? Please keep the comments about the above topic and no I don't care if you think the game would be boring alone and so on so no need to leave those sorts of comments either.

No, I simply don't care what those people have to say. It's my thread and I am just looking for an answer to my question not every ones opinion on SP being boring or not.

The first my friend was trying to loot my corpse when she moved an item from her bag to inventory her bag despawned. I approached my corpse to take my pack and as soon as I put it on it despawned off my back. The first two times I chalked it up to a stroke of really really bad luck or some sort of human error as silly as that is. Now that's I've lost my second Coyote Backpack and second AS50 thanks to this glitch I am a little bit on the pissed off side.

I've come across a few hacked tents, first few had an TSW sniper in it and an M4A1 HOLO SD in the other. First time I simply deleted the everything in a full pack and ran the tents over. Last night I came across two hackers that had been killed in a heli crash, one had the TSW sniper which I promptly deleted but the other had another M4A1 HOLO SD and this time I've decided to keep it. I don't have a single bandit kill, I don't hunt people nor do I even try to log on servers with more than one person outside of night time. I use my weapon simply to take out Zombies quietly, loot and move on. Some of you probably think this is lame and boring but it's fun for me and if I can use a silenced weapon to do it I'm going to. I didn't spawn it in and I am rather tired of checking the forums every time I find something on a corpse to see if it is legit or not. Normally I try to stick to a Bizon SD but when you are in the middle of a city with 3 rounds left and haven't seen a heli spawn in a few days you do what you gotta do.

You turned your gamma up, imo you cheated to get a kill and it should count as a bandit kill.

Looking for one pair of NVG and two Ghillie suits. Not sure on trade values but I have a fresh AS50 with two mags, found fresh from a chopper crash site today. No idea if this is worth what I am asking or some of what I am asking. Please don't try to rip me off if this is actually worth more then I am asking, if you're honest it will get you further. I know it's rare and only from chopper sites but I don't know if the demand for it is high. Thanks Guys

Scratch that, please delete. Spawned in today and found my backpack gone along with my AS. Screw this game!

Well I am really just looking for a set of NVGs and two suits for my friend and I since the server we like to play on is usually dark by the time we get a chance to log on. Might go so far as just some NVGs. Sooner or later we will probably get killed anyway but anything to help us survive at the moment.
