My friend and I are both hanging out down in Elektro right now. Don't know if he's going to be coming online tonight, though, so we're in no real hurry to get our hands on it. I have some medical supplies stashed away to offer up as trade, because I know full well how rare antibiotics happens to be XD Lemme know when you're going to make your way down south and what time you'd be willing to meet with me (I'm in the Eastern U.S. time zone). The only weapons I'll bring with me are a hatchet and a revolver. If you want medical supplies in trade, I'll also bring some of them with me as well.

The way It seems it's going to be run is that there's going to be two major factions as well as the possibility for several smaller factions, pending approval from King Scuba. I'd much prefer being in a small, independent faction but we'll have to see if the game lends itself well to that sort of thing or if the small factions just end up being crushed. Truth be told, I'd like it if the small factions actually had a player count that outnumbered the larger factions, but due to their smaller independent nature aren't able to put up a big enough fight against the two largest factions.

Better yet, so many other people kill themselves immediately upon spawning in Kamenka that you're never hurting for bandages and painkillers.

How many vehicles will we have access to? Enough so that every faction will have at least something or will there be some intense squabbling along those particular lines? Also, I heard that all available buildings in Lingor can be entered and have loot points. Is this true, or is that the other unofficial map?

This has been happening to me a lot on the server I frequent the most. Unfortunately, most of my hidden stashes are on the server I'm getting this problem on, so I can't access any of the awesome gear or fail safe emergency supplies I've put away for a rainy day.

Number of No answers is almost three times the number of Yes answers. Seems like the Kamenka Komplainers are members of a rather vocal minority.

I find that slow mo running is directly proportional to the number of Baywatch cast members nearby. EDIT It's quite possible that you're just using a crappy server. Try out a few different ones and see if the problem goes away.

How many towns does Lingor have? And how far will territory spread outside the influence of a town? And will the manner of town influence what kind of organization is allowed to form around it? Cause I'd love to be part of a small, independent scavenging faction that makes its living through trade with the other factions. Maybe even allow for a few trading caravans that hold no territory and instead travel around conducting trade. Am I messing up your rhythm with my constant jabbering? When I see an idea I like I can't help but talk about it incessantly, like some manner of enthusiastic drunken howler monkey.

Heh, cool. Maybe two main organizations and a few smaller independent organizations. Ah well. It'll be interesting to see where this is gonna go.

Wonderful idea. One question, though. Have you given any thought to having four different factions instead of just two? Split the map four different ways between four different teams of players. This'll open up the board to a whole lot of temporary alliances and stunning betrayals. One faction getting to be too powerful? The other three can band together and coordinate a massive strike against the strongest. Not sure if the Lingor map would be able to accommodate a four way split like that, though. I've never played on it. Also, will we be starting fresh on this server (new characters with starter equipment kept track of independently from the main HIVE) or will we get to bring with us gear that we already have? I'd much prefer a game like this to be kept track of independently from the other servers, because I don't want anyone bringing in hacked weapons and items from other servers and I don't want to run the risk of losing the character I'm already running on the public servers. Besides, it'd just seem right to start all the characters fresh for a competition like this. That way there won't be an unnatural advantage if one team brings in a metric fuckton of AKM's while the other team just starts with basic or low-tier gear.

Dude, some spawns are bound to better than other spawns. Even if Kamenka was the worst spawn in the entire game, and I'm not saying it is because I like Kamenka, there'd be absolutely no reason to remove it. Sure, people complain that they think it's a crappy spawn, but they need to get over it. Either curse your fate and jump off a bridge, or suck it up and power on through like the rest of us do when we go to a spawn we don't like. Just because you feel slightly inconvenienced doesn't mean the game has to bend over backwards for you every time you feel the need to hop onto an internet forum and complain.

I've only ever killed one other player and it was an accident. Do you cover vehicular manslaughter? Maybe you could claim it was a slow news week or something XD

How come I can never find the spare parts I need when I need them?! Found a pretty sweet ride with a broken down engine, but all I have is fuel tank parts. So I go to the nearest warehouse and the only thing I find is MORE fuel tank parts! And this isn't just one building, oh noooooo. It's the whole damn city! Every single place I go to that spawns spare parts, I only find fuel tank parts! After a full day of searching, I finally manage to locate some engine parts. "Huzzah," I said, as I go back to the vehicle to repair it. I get it working, start driving down the road, and run straight into a traffic barrier. The engine and both front wheels are destroyed. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- Anyway, if anyone else wants to scream nonsensically into the vast depths of this thread about their individual petty gripes, go right ahead! I know I just did.
